max told her that she realized she liked him, and they made out for a bit. she left out the slut part, and how much he touched her.

"jesus christ, that's amazing."

"now we need to get will and you together."

"how?"

"what're you gonna do?"

"leave it to dustin, obviously."

max walked up to dustin, who happened to be talking to mike.

"listen. el likes will. can we get them together already?" she asked him. mike grabbed max's hand. dustin didn't notice.

"rig the seven minutes." she suggested.

"on it." he said, and ran off.

"so." mike said after a pause.

"so." she replied. he squeezed her hand.

"sorry i haven't told you how i felt. i love you, max."

"even though you're a slut." he said jokingly.

"of course." she winked.

she turned around. el was freaking out but trying not to freak out. she picked will in seven minutes. after they were shoved in the closet, she started cracking up.

"and i promise i won't hook up with any other sluts," he whispered.

"my mike wheeler doesn't have that attitude. drink a bit more and you might forget."

conversation stopped. soon, el came out of the closet with will. she ran up to max and started pulling her away from mike, and it looked like she was on the verge of a panic attack.

mike smirked. "before you go..." he grabbed a pen from the counter and scribbled his number on her wrist.

max laughed. "see ya, wheeler!"
