Choni One Shots

Toni walked eerily along the halls of Riverdale hospital, her boots clicking and clacking and giving her goosebumps even though she knew it was her making the noises.

Cheryl hadn't been in school today. Toni was pretty shocked before she remembered that her nana had taken a bad 'fall' according to her parents.

Toni didn't really know what Cheryl would be like. She missed school, which was concerning according to her transcript, so Toni collected all of her work and was going to bring it to her, also checking in on the girl in the process.

Their almost-kiss had happened less than 24 hours ago and Toni thought she might as well be there for the girl since all of her 'friends' constantly had their heads up their significant other's asses.

Finally after wandering through flickering lights followed by creepy noises, Toni reached the room of Rose Blossom and peeked her head around the corner.

"Hey" Toni whispered and she watched Cheryl's head shoot up to meet her gaze.

She dropped the book she was reading and wiped her face before saying "Toni, hey" and putting on a smile.

"Have you been here all day?" Toni asked and crouched down to grab Cheryl's book.

Cheryl nodded and then shook her head once she felt tears knocking on the edge of her eyelids, trying to come out.

"What's wrong Cheryl? You can tell me" Toni moved closer and Cheryl sighed, wiping her rapidly falling tears.

"I'm exhausted"

Toni nodded as if that wasn't obvious to anyone who would've looked at her.

She took Cheryl's hand and squeezed it to get her attention. "Sweet Pea and Fangs can come sit watch overnight if you want, you can stay with me and I'll bring you back in the morning" she suggested.

Cheryl wiped her eyes and cocked her head. "Why?" She asked.

"What do you mean why? Because you look exhausted Cher" she traced Cheryl's cheek and felt the girl lean into it.

"I'll take that as a yes" Toni mumbled and threw all of Cheryl's stuff in her bag before pulling the redhead out of her chair and wrapping an arm around her waist to keep her steady, she wasn't lying when she said she was exhausted.

"Heyyy Tiny, we goin up?" Sweet Pea asked, signaling between him and Fangs to see if they would need to spend the night with Cheryl's grandmother.

"Yea I️'m gonna back to mine so she can rest. Thank you guys for doing this" Toni looked at Cheryl and then back to the boys who just waved her thank you off.

"What are friends for?" Fangs smiled and the door of te elevator closed in front of him.

Toni continued to guide Cheryl through the hospital before stopping her against a wall. "Hold this" She told Cheryl, giving her her bag to hold and Cheryl held it loosely.

Cheryl let out a quiet squeak when Toni lifted her up to carry her to her car. "It's not too far but you were slowin me down Cher" she joked and Cheryl hummed into her shoulder.

Eventually they made it to Toni's car, and then her trailer. Cheryl felt herself being guided by a hand dangerously low on her back, nearing the edge of her jeans.

As soon as they entered Toni sat Cheryl down on her couch, "Rough place I️ know" she said, "But I️ have what I️ need you know?"

"I️ like it" Cheryl let a genuine smiled grace her lips for a second before looking at Toni, "it's very you, TT"
