'You can break my heart in two
But when it heals it beats for you
I know it's forward but it's true'(`・∀・')

It's been seven days, a week and I don't know where Ray is. I haven't left the office, haven't been sleeping, just trying to know where she is. We hacked all of the gangs' cameras we could think of.
"You up for food?" Blake comes in to check on me as he's done for the past week. He's also worried sick, in fact, all the gang feel sick for not being able to locate her.
"I'll pass," I say, not tearing my eyes from the laptop as I'm coding to get into the hospitals' information.
"When we find her, you need to be energized," he steps closer.
"I'll worry about that when we find her," I rub my little beard that's developed.
"That's enough," he shuts the screen. The fu—
"The entire room is depressing, you haven't eaten other than protein bars and instant noodles, and most importantly, you stink," he pokes at my chest. "You aren't a frat in the college dorms," he says angrily.
"Technically-" I try to defend. "Nope!" He holds his pointer finger up. "Now, get yourself home and take a shower, shave and eat before you can come back," he takes a deep breath walking out. "You have thousands of people working for you, for God's sake," he yells in disbelief."
He has a point. I put my face in my hands before sighing a deep sigh and getting up. When the marshmallows see me, they stand straighter and give me a sympathetic but I just glare and keep a stone face on. They all know I don't do feelings, Blake was the only one allowed in my office without getting shot somewhere.
I enter the house for the first time since I found out she wasn't in my arm reach. It was the same as when we first left it. I sigh once more before dragging myself upstairs three stories just to get to my closet. I enter the bathroom, still thinking of all the possible ways she could be hurting right now.

"Sir, her vitals aren't going up," a voice that sounds like a whisper says.
"I'm not killing this poor girl just because a machine doesn't want to cooperate," another voice responds.
"Did you get a hold of her legal guardian?"
"She looks above 18, but she doesn't have a cell. Meaning you would just wait for her to wake up," I hear some clatter and someone leaving the room.
I move my cramped fingers and swallow dry saliva. I move around to notify somebody to help me, and I feel someone putting a straw in my mouth.
"Water?" The voice says, still blurry.
I chug whatever is in the container and can finally open my eyes squinting.
I see an unfamiliar male face, brown eyes, brown hair.
"Where?" I start to remember all the events happening and almost vomit if I wasn't so used to being here.
"I found you passed out bleeding out next to the road, I picked you up and got you to my apartment but realized it was way more serious so we're at Texas hospital," the man explains, he looks around Blake's age, pretty tall, overall an okay looking guy. Wait, Texas?
"Texas?" I panic. "No no no, sir, I need, New York, a little town, it's, oh my god, Ace," I stand up, almost falling down from the dizziness.
"Woah Woah Woah, im pretty sure you're supposed to rest," he holds me back while I just start shaking violently.
"We're in Texas? The south?" I confirm.
"I'm visiting my family and I couldn't leave you in a hospital without your official papers so I just got you here after you stabilized," so I was kidnapped, unconscious. He sounds creepy, but I should be thankful.
"Phone, I need to call someone," I plead.
"You want to use mine?" He offers, I quickly snatch it and dial Ace'd number. To my disadvantage, he doesn't pick up. I try Rose next, but she doesn't pick up either. The last number I have memorized is Blake's and he does pick up.
"Yes?" Once I hear a familiar voice, a wave of relief washes over me.
"Blake! It's me, it's Ray," I say crying.
"Hello?" He doesn't hear me.
I try again, but his voice starts breaking up. I scream and hang up the phone. "Listen, I need to get back up north," I tell him, already looking for my clothes.
"How about I call a nurse to help you?" I nod eagerly and he leaves to find one.
I sit down on the hospital bed and finally break down crying.
"Miss, I'm sorry we can't discharge you yet," a doctor says after he's gotten all my basic information.
"You dont understand, I know how to efficiently sneak out of any place so whether you allow it or not, I'll leave. I'll either do it legally after be payed or just run and put out a debt for the poor man that's been listed as emergency contact," I say sternly. I might have picked up a few things from Ace.
"It's best you follow protocol and wait just a couple days before you travel or do any serious activities. You had internal bleeding and your heart stopped during surgery. You haven't been ingesting the right amount of nutrition, and your body needs rest," the doctor pressures me.
"My heart stopping isn't an unusual thing, which I know which was your main argument but it happens all the time. As for resting, I got a week worth of it so I'm good," I cross my arms.
"You can leave home but you can't travel for another couple of days," the doctor sighs.
"My home is only found if I travelled!" I say frustrated.
"Sir, a word please," he motions to the guy that's been standing next to me. They both talk while the guy just agrees with whatever the hell the doctor was saying.
After a while, only the guy returns and I'm already dressed with some cheap leggings and a red sweater that has the hospital's name on it considering it is where I got it at.
"You can sleep at my house for a two days and be gone later," he offers a smile and I feel bad. This poor man wanted to spend time with his family instead he got a whiney 19 year old.
"I'm so sorry for all the trouble, but I'm just going to book a flight right away," I smile back.
"The doctor said," I cut him off. "The doctor said my vitals were stable, no more internal bleeding, bruises are mostly gone, the only thing is they're being extra careful because of my heart failure during the surgery. I know the side effect and in this case, I know my body better than anyone here. If you'll excuse me, I'm going to need to find a computer and some money to borrow," I limo my way out of the room.
"Peter," he blurts as I'm about to turn.
"Pardon?"
"My name, is Peter. You can borrow some of my money and let me go back with you," he offers.
I think this over, if the dude wants to, who am I to stop a possible scholar?
"Ray," I extend my hand. "Once I get back home, I'll pay you straight away," I promise.
He smiles and looks at my face for a little longer than normal before he goes to register some seats.
