Prom night(Algee Smith)

"Y/n ain't you coming to Prom tomorrow right" I hear Aleena, my best friend ask as we walked to our next class together.

"You already know I am why is that even a question" I ask making her laugh.

We walk into chemistry and sat at a random station and put on our equipment.

"I can already tell that you and Algee are about to shut the party down" She says.

"Speaking of shutting things down. I heard that your block party got shut down" I ask as the teacher walked in.

"Goodmorning class" He greets.

"Goodmorning" Everyone says in unison.

"But anyways yea they gone come shut the party down because they claim they got more than three noise complaints" She said rolling her eyes.

"Ok class let's get this show on a roll" The teachers said clapping his hands with a smile.

.....

"Y/n bring yo slow ass on" Aleena yelled standing ontop of her car.

"I'm coming !" I yelled back.

I picked my bookbag up with a sigh.

Algee hasn't been coming to school

Even though it's lunch but still.

He hasn't texted me for the past two days.

As I'm walking to the car I hear two loud boom sounds.

I then see kids running in different directions.

I then see four men in ski masks come from around the corner making my adrenaline begin to rush.

As I turn around to run I hear one of them yell "she's running ! Get her !"

This made me start running to Aleena's car.

I open the car door with the four men hot on my tail.

She has a panic look on her face and she sees the men running towards her car.

"Ah hell nah ! Y/n you gotta get out" She said trying to open the door.

She finally opens my door and the men are a row in front of us.

"Aleena !! What the fuck !" I yell.

My eyes burn as tears rush out of them.

"I'm sorry y/n" She yells as they grab me and drag me away from her car.

"You fake bitch ! Wait until I get out I swear I'm gone kill yo ass myself" I say struggling to get out of their hold and get to her.

They picked me up and carried me behind the school.

"Let me go !" I cried out.

I began crying harder as my heart started quickening.

They turn another corner and there's a car.

They throw me in the trunk and shut it.

I began to silently cry and pray that I make it out alive.

"Y/n ? Is that you" I hear a familiar voice from behind me.

"A-Algee"

"What happened" He asked before the car came to a stop.

I hear the car doors open and close with footsteps coming towards the trunk.

My adrenaline starts to run again and I start to breathe heavy.

"It's ok I got you" He whispers before the trunk opened.

"Get out" one of them yells while grabbing me and yanking me out of the trunk.

I don't even care to fight back anymore.

They end up taking Algee and I to the middle of the woods.

I see a mob of people crowding around something.

They all quiet down and makes a path for me to walk through.

He pushes me for me to walk faster and I do just that.

As I get to what everybody was crowding around it was a big display of the words 'Will you go to prom with me ?'.

I turn around and I see Algee looking at me with a hopeful look plastered on his face.

"Yes" I mumble quietly.

"She said yes !" Algee yelled making everyone begin to cheer and clap for us.

I run up and I hugged him silently thanking god that this was just a prank.

"I thought I lost you" I whispered.

"I'm here it's ok now" He said slightly laughing.

"You wanna go home now" He asks.

I nod.

"Yo you should've seen your face when I put you out the car" Aleena said walking over and laughing.

My adrenaline began rushing again just at the sight of her face.

"You bitch!" I yelled in rage launching at her.

Well at least I thought I was.

"Yo Y/n chill" Algee said in my ear with a chuckle.

I watch as she stands there with her hands up in surrender.

"I guess I'll see you at prom then" Aleena said while backing up and leaving.

She gave me a small smile as I shot daggers at her with my eyes.

"Come on. I'll take you home" He says pulling me alongside of him making our way out of the forest.

The ride home was silent as the radio slowly played.

The song 'Come thru' by drake filled the car making a small smirk form on my lips.

This same exact song played the day me and Algee met one another.

I look over at him as he focused on the rode.

"Why you looking at me like that" He says while pulling in my neighborhood.

"This song" I state making him furrow his eyes.

Seconds past and his eyes slowly unconnected and a smile form on his face.

He pulls up in my house driveway and turn the car off.

"What you bouta go do" Algee asks.

"Getting ready for prom" I say giving him the 'duh' look.

"Oh yea that is right"
