You settled outside of your rooftop room, facing the stunning night view of the city. This method always made you relax after a long day and you could stare at it forever if it was possible.

You're life wasn't heading as planned. Moving to  the city at a young age seemed exciting and adventurous, trying to find your path but it doesn't always go the way you want to.

Despite your age, you felt that you haven't accomplished anything yet and that made your anxiety worsen everyday, being afraid of the future.

You were so lost that you didn't realise that your closest friend Chan had come for a visit.

Waving the plastic bag in front of your face, you snapped out of your thoughts and greeted him

"Hi Y/N, Beer?" He asked lifting the plastic  bag and you nodded reaching out for a can.

He sat next to you and both took a sip of the refreshing beverage.

"What's on your mind" he asks

"The usual" you answer

It wasn't the first time you've talked to Chan about these things. He's been through all the breakdowns and anxiety attacks, and luckily he always manages to find a way to make you feel better.

"Come on Y/N we're still in our 20's (I know he's not in his 20s but for the sake of the imgine) we got a whole life to live, what is there to worry of? Our lives are an adventure waiting to be explored, worrying will only make the adventure harder and shorter " he said

"I know it's just, I'm so tired, I don't know what to do anymore I don't even feel like doing anything-" you stopped yourself from tearing up

The next thing you know, you're covered by two comforting hands and a warm chest to lean on.
With his hands running through your hair and soft whispers
"It's ok we are all human, it's ok to feel tired"
As well as soft humming which makes you calm and sleepy
You hear a soft whisper say

"You did well, you're doing well, you will do well"

v.v sorry for the extremely long lack of updates I wasn't happy with my other ideas I'm glad this one turned out decent.

The last line is a quote which really helped me recently
