"Hello" you started greeting the elders with a smile at the senior citizen hall, together with Joshua who is also brightly saying hello to them.

You actually met Joshua for the first time while doing volunteer work at the Senior citizen hall. With his soothing honey-like voice and his brilliant guitar playing skills, he managed to both wow you and the citizens everytime.

You both quickly became regulars at the hall, visiting them every Sunday as they insisted that you both come weekly, and you couldn't resist the joy on their faces.

"Good afternoon everyone. Today I prepared a very special song to sing for you, i hope you like it" Joshua said shyly. Everyone started cheering for him loudly already, he cleared his throat and began to mesmerize everyone with his singing. Not even a second before he started, the elders were already having fun clapping to the simple yet fun beat.

You on the other hand were preparing the sandwiches and tea on the other side of the room. As soon as you started making the sandwiches, an old lady came up to you.

"Y/n sweetie" she said slowly walking towards you

"Ms.Lee, how are you doing?" You said brightly

"Just as always" she responded and you smiled at her, sending her encouragement

"I wanted to thank you for coming every Sunday, I know it can be a hassle" she said placing her hands on yours

"Don't mention it Ms.Lee, it's an honour for Joshua and I to visit you every week" you said reassuring her

"I'm so glad you two found each other, both of you are such sweethearts" She said

"Found each other? We 're only friends Ms.Lee" you told her

"Friends? Oh I'm pretty sure you're more than that. I've seen the way he looks at you my dear, it's a look full of love"

You blush at her response and turn away looking at the sandwiches. You hear her giggle and a little laugh escapes your mouth too.

Soon a loud cheer occurs once again, indicating that Joshuas performance had ended.

"Thank you everyone. Now please go and enjoy the sandwiches and tea Y/n has prepared" he announced

As everyone got seated,you and Joshua served the snacks and later headed to the garden for some rest

"Good job today y/n" he said with a face full of smiles

"I should say that to you, how do you manage to hype them all up with your singing?" You wonder

"I don't know, talent I guess" he shrugs and you playfully hit him on his shoulders.

"Thank you for joining me every week" you say

He shakes his head

"It's ok, i love coming here, especially seeing you smile all day. You do have the world's most beautiful smile you know that's right?" He says out of nowhere

Your face begins to turn red from the unexpected compliment and you look down at your feet avoiding his eyes.

"Y/n" he says placing his hands on yours

The small action surprises you and you look up only to realise that his face was only a few inches away from yours

Your heart started beating faster as you made eye contact with him. His luminous eyes kept staring at yours. At that moment you understood what Ms.Lee was saying, his eyes indeed looked at yours full of love.

Before you knew it, his soft lips engaged with yours. You were surprised at first but soon responded to his action, making him smile.

He broke off the kiss and you smiled witnessing his pink blushed cheeks.

"Y/n sweetie, can you please come and make more tea?" Someone called from inside

"Of course!" You said rushing inside, holding Joshua s hand on the way
