I show up at the wedding venue to get ready. A lady does my hair and makeup, quickly working her magic. I texted Steven to let him know I was getting ready and he replied,
Steven: what's wrong? U weren't there when I woke up
Me: I only wanted to see you when we r getting married. Srry hun, I needed to get out. Don't peek at me! I'm getting ready!😘

I take a deep breath and sigh. How could you let this happen? I was not focused, but I had to be. I was marrying Steven and we would start a new life together! Suddenly, I became more sure about it. The way Caleb and I connected was only a fantasy, I should've known that when he came back into town. Those feelings had gone, and that's why I was with Steven. Steven was realistic and he had security and success. He knows what he's doing and he's a smart man.
And I'm ready to marry him.
