Anthony's POV

Another shitty day of school I hate waking up early! Uhhh what's even worse is that Michel is at his locker that's awkwardly next to mine.
"Hey Anthony" just ignore him and  he'll go away

"Anthony!"

"Uhhhh what?!"

"I wanna, umm... you know about the dance tonight?"

"that one dance?"

"Yeah, umm are you going with anyone yet?" He asks nervously

"No why would anyone wanna go with me?"

"Well duh cuz you're really cute, innocent, smart, short and you smell good" That's the first time I've seen him blush

"I didn't tell my parents I had any plans for tonight, I don't have a ticket and they're five dollars I could buy a soda and chips for less"

"But it'll be worth it" he insists

"More like a waste of time and money"

"What if I get you a ticket"

"Why would you"

"Because I wanna... you know spend time with you?" Is the school weirdo asking me out?!

"Oh... I guess I'll have to think about it, meet me here after lunch okay?"

"Okay, But I heard that there's gonna be an eating contest and I want you to be there to see me receive the grand prize!"

"Do you even know what it's gonna be?"

"I guess we'll have to find out tonight, am I right"

"It'll probably be more food"

"We can share it in everyone's faces, it'll be the meal of victory" he says confidently

"How are you so sure you're gonna win?"

"Believe me I've been practicing"

"I guess that'll be worth it then"
