Chapter 16:
Abby's POV

"Abby Montgomery" the lady says.
I get up out my seat while shaking. I slowly walk up to the bowls. What will I choose?
When I approach the bowls the lady hands me a knife. I take the knife and breath in and out a couple times. This will change my life. I can't ever go back. Will I leave my parents forever or stay with them in abnegation?
I take the knife and carefully cut a tiny slit into my wrist. I hold my arm over abnegation.
No I can't do this. This isn't where I belong. I move my hand over to dauntless and let my blood drip on the coal.
Everyone screams and claps for my change. I walk over to where the dauntless sat as I look at my father, my mother, and Caleb for the last time. The dauntless are wearing all black and have tattoos and piercings. Did I make the right choice?
