Caleb's POV

"Caleb Montgomery" the lady calls out.
I'm ready. I know what I want. I walk up to the bowls. I look at them each carefully. Everyone is watching. I feel the eyes staring. Everyone wondering what I'll choose.
I take the knife and cut my wrist. Just deep enough for the dripping blood. Just before it drips I move my arm over Erudite. I have just left my family. I walk over to the Erudite. With my head down.
Tristen's POV

"Tristen Bickerstaff" the lady yells. I'm not nervous at all. I already know exactly what I want.
I walk up to the bowls. I stair at the abnegation rocks and the dauntless coals. I grab the knife and cut a slit. I move my arm to the dauntless. This is what I have always wanted. I left my family but I'm proud to be dauntless.
Abby's POV

I can't believe Caleb left me. I can't believe I left my family. I want to cry. I feel the tears in my eyes. "Not here" I say to myself. Dauntless don't cry.
There were also three other girls. Macey Vandiver, Amanda Herring, and Madyson King. They look very familiar. They all chose dauntless.
