Awsten sat at the small table in the corner of the coffee shop.

He sits at that table everyday.

Geoff would know.

The boy came in every day and always ordered the same thing.

It was at this point that Geoff had the spelling of Awsten's name memorized. Awsten was grateful for that.

The two had never spoken besides when Awsten came in and ordered and exchanged the small 'thank you's and 'you're welcome's.

But Geoff watched the boy.

I know what you're thinking, what a creep, right?

But it wasn't that Geoff looked at the boy.

It's how he looked at him.

The purple haired boy fascinated Geoff in every way.

How he pulled up his sweater paws whenever he took a sip from his drink.

How he smiled to himself every so often when writing in the small leather journal he always carried with him.

The boy was beautiful.

~

Awsten smiled to himself as new lyrics came to his mind.

He quickly scribbled them down on the page.

'There's nothing in my system
so I'm feeling what I feel for you.'

He closed the book and picked up his drink, taking a small sip of it before glancing to his left.

His eyes set on the boy he had known for so long.

But then again, he didn't know him at all.

The boy took his order everyday and even learned how to spell his name correctly.

That was a very rare thing.

It wasn't just that though. It was the way the boy styled his hair everyday; The way he spoke; The way he smiled at him.

Awsten's heart went out for him.

If only he knew him just a little bit better.
