It was finally the day. I was in all white, a viel clipped into my hair. Veronica and Heather stood behind me touching up my hair. They smiled at my reflection. My grin stretched across my face and there was no way to hold it back. Today was one of those days where it was too good to not smile. I was about to become Mrs. Curtis. We would be Sodapop and Bailey Curtis. The Curtis family. I almost squealed thinking it.
We'd found a small home near Pony and Darry and bought it with both of our savings. It may be small but it was perfect. Not only was it in budget, but it was in great condition, had three bedrooms, and a nice backyard.
"It's time," My mom peaked her head inside.
Veronica grabbed my train while Heather grabbed all the flowers and my sistr adjusted the veil.
Soon we heard the piano start and the doors swung open to reveal the standing audience. My Father was suddenly next to me and linking my arm in his.
My sister and Darry walked through first, followed by Pony and Heather, and them Veronica and Steve.
It was finally my turn to step through the doors of the church. As I got closer, I could finally see Soda and he had the same huge grin on his face. My smile grew even wider at the sight of him. He looked sharp in his tux but it was his smile and eyes that always made me weak in the knees. My almost husband. The thought made me giddy.
We recieted our vows and then we were officially husband and wife. As soon as we pulled apart from our kiss he scooped me in his arms and carried me down the aisle, the both of us laughing and happier than words could express.
The reception was a great time considering all our loved ones were there. Well, most.
The highlight had to be the tossing of the bouquet. My sister was eager to be the one to catch it while Heather decided there was no point and sat out. In the end, Veronica caught just like Soda predicted.
A week later Steve propsed. They were married only a few momths after and found a house down the street from Soda and I.
Soda got me a puppy for our one year anniversary and we named him Lucky.
Our son Eli was born a few month later.
Then after two years, Veronica and I each had a daughter. Thry named their angel Ruby while we continued with Soda's prediction and named Iris after my favorite flower.
Heather and Two-Bit became close and as much as we thought something would happen there, it never did. They were just close friends and that wasn't changing.
Anne became like a big sister to Eli, Ruby, and Iris and they were all very close.
Soda and I were watching them all play from the swing on our porch when he turned to look at me, "How did a gang of outsiders like us get so lucky?" He looked from his friends to where Veronica and Heather were playing with the kids.
I smiled and shrugged, "We're outsiders, too."
