August 31 : Friday

Jungkook and I were walking around the school campus during 6th period. We had to get in partners and take pictures using a prism. It was frustrating. Jungkook was able to figure out the right angle to hold the prism to get a rainbow across his photos but I couldn't. Every picture I took was just a morphed view through the glass prism.

"I'm giving up!" I huffed in frustration handing the prism to Jungkook. He laughed at my me before trying to hand the prism back to me. "No."

"No?" He said raising one eyebrow, tilting his head to the side. He had an amused smirk on his face. "I'll help. Come on."

Rolling my eyes I listened to him holding my camera up to my eye again. He took my free hand and placed the prism in it. I tried again and again and I still couldn't get the rainbow he got.

"Jungkook it's not working." I huffed about ready to just break the damn glass object.

"The sun has to hit it at an angle, in order to refract. You need to angle it against the sun." He said and I looked at him with a complexed and frustrated face.

"Your vocabulary is too big." I grumbled and he chuckled.

"Here." He moved his face in front of my camera it still in my hands. Taking my wrist he twisted my hand and camera slightly before stepping back with a smug grin. "Look."

A freaking rainbow, right across the middle of my photo. I snap a few before walking past Jungkook toward the classroom. He was laughing behind me.

"I'm glad me angry is amusing to you." I said jokingly and he shook his head looking at me. His eyes danced across my face not saying anything but he was wearing a fond smile. "What?"

"You're just cute." He said before walking into the classroom leaving me in the hallway. I was used to him always complimenting me but it still made me blush. The only compliments I ever got were from my family, there is a different feeling when boys compliment you. Even if you don't like them.

"We are staying up all night Jungkook! We need something to entertain ourselves with!" Taehyung yelled. It was after school and we were sitting at the tree waiting for Namjoon and Hoseok to get out of their gym class.

"We aren't bringing a Ouija board hyung. I don't fuck with demons." Jungkook said as he laid his head on to my lap. I was finally reading the last chapter of Yoongi and I's book. Yoongi ended up finishing it before me and he keeps messaging me to hurry and finish it so he can share his theories with me.

"Well what are we going to do? It's your birthday we can't just get drunk and sit around." Taehyung said and I slammed my book closed.

"It's your birthday tomorrow?" Jungkook nodded looking up at me. "Why the hell didn't you tell me!"

"Nanni it's not a big deal." Jungkook laughed lightly and I gasped.

"Not a big deal! Birthdays are a very big deal. It's the day the world was gifted your presence." I smiled at him and he laughed again shaking his head.

"See! Nanni understands the importance of birthdays." Taehyung pouty, put his head onto Jungkook's lap. "Where the hell are they?"

We were quiet for another 10 minutes and I'm pretty sure Taehyung fell asleep. I was a page away from the end of my book and nothing has happened, nothings been resolved.

"He pushes open the old door of the old house on Old Brick Road taking a single step into the broken room. There she was, just like he planned; just like he said. He knew she would be his, all he had to do was take care of her boyfriend. He knew he could treat her better, love her better, touch her better. He knew they were better together. "Don't cry baby. This is what you wanted." He said holding what's left of her in his hands. "Someone to love all of you. Isn't that what you wanted?" She doesn't reply, she can't. How can someone who never existed speak? She's never spoken before, remember?"
