Patton was never the happy side everyone thought he was. Deep down he hid pain so unimaginable that no one would be able to bare to think of it. Everyday, the same words repeat in his head, telling him his worst insecurities were a reality and he believed them. That was until he met Deceit. Deceit told him everything he wanted to hear and everything he sincerely wished and hoped was true and he was so sick of all the pain that he chose to believe it. Slowly, he began to fall in love with Deceit but not for the guy himself but for the lies he told him. They kept their relationship a secret because Patton knew that the others would try to separate them but Patton needed Deceit to tell him these lies since they were the only thing keeping him sane and it was as if he was addicted to them. Eventually, Deceit convinced Patton to lock himself in his room and stay away from the others at all costs. So he did. But at that moment, the others knew something was wrong
