Chapter 13

Clem's POV
I wake up to the sun shining through the blinds I groan but sit and yawn and stretch before getting out of bed. I walk out of my room and stop at Aj's room. I open it lightly and smile at his sleeping figure. Aj looked so Peaceful in his sleep. I closed the door softly and head toward the living room. Suddenly someone knocked lightly on the door. I look out the window to see Javi. I open the door
"Hey Clem, can I come in?" Javi asked
"Yeah of course," I say opening the door more for him to come in
"So what do you need?" I asked closing the door. "We need to talk about Gabe."
"Is everything ok?" I asked getting worried.
"Um yeah...at least for now" now I was getting worried. "What do you mean?"
"He's not talking Clem, it may be just like last time" Javi explained
"I won't let that happen," I said determined
"Hey may yell at you Clem," Javi said warningly
"I don't care, I love him so much. I won't let him hurt himself again"
"He's In his house if you want to see him,"
"Should I go see him now?"
"If you want to, don't think I'm forcing you to do anything"
"I'll go see him"
I walked into my bedroom to get dressed.

I was feeling really nervous, I had a lot of thoughts going through my head.
'What if he already did it?'
Ok, I gotta calm down before I have a panic attack. I raised my hand and knocked on the door. A few seconds passed before the door opened revealing Gabe.
"Hey"
Gabe looked surprised to see me.
"Hey, Clem, what's up?" Gabe asked me.
"I wanted to talk to you, can I come in?"
"Yeah sure" Gabe opened the door more for me to come in. "Nice place," I said admiring the place
"Thanks, I guess"
I frowned at his choice of words.
"So what did you want to talk about?" Gabe asked. I sighed. "Are you ok?" I said straightforward
"Yeah, why wouldn't I be?"
"Gabe you haven't been saying anything to anyone for 2 days"
"I've just been thinking about some stuff"
"Like what?"
"Nothing you need to worry about"
I was getting frustrated "why won't you open up to me!?"
"Cause I'm scared Clem!"
I was taken back "what?"
"I'm scared Clem"
"About?"
"Being hurt again" Gabe said looking away.
"Gabe...Gabe look at me" I walked over and put my hand on his chin forcing him to look at me. My heart broke as I saw tears dripping down Gabe's face. "Oh, Gabe..." I hugged Gabe and he broke down sobbing. "I love you, Clem," he said in between sobs
"I love you too Gabe"
"Please don't leave me"
I smiled lightly
"I won't Gabe, I promise" I lifted Gabe's head to look at him. I wipe his tears off his face before kissing him for the first time in 2 years.
I pull away with a smile and Gabe has one on his face too. "I really missed you, Gabe"
"I missed you too Clem"
I kissed him again.
"So what does this mean?" I asked
"I think this means we're back together,"
I was so happy to hear him say that. I smiled at him while trying to fight back tears of joy.
"Clem, why are you crying?" Gabe said worried
"I'm just really happy"
Gabe smiled at me
"I love you, Clem,"
