By the time Allison had made it home it was way past 2 a.m. She unlocked the front door and went to her bedroom ready to pass out and hopefully have a peaceful sleep when a hand suddenly clasped around her mouth. She tried to wriggle out of the persons hold but they had a strong grip so she did the only thing she thought she could do. She bit down on their hand. She was about to scream for her aunt and uncle when Justin turned on her bedroom lights and threw his hands up. "It's me, it's me."
"What the hell is wrong with you? What makes you think that this is the best way to meet with me? By scaring the shit out of me?" Allison asked as she quickly ran to her bedroom door and shut it. "Damn you've got a bite." Justin said examining his hand. "Did you tell anyone I was here?" Justin asked. "No?" Allison lied not really understanding why he cared so much if people knew he was back. "I don't have much time to talk, Al. You need to listen and listen good, because I don't know when I'll get the chance to see you again." "What the hell are you talking about?" "It's about your birth mother."

Allison squinted her eyes and glared at her brother. "What do you know about my birth mother?" Justin walked towards her and grabbed her arm pulling her to sit down on her bed. "Last year before I disappeared," Allison flinched at the word disappeared but continued to listen, "dad called me into his office. Do you remember that?" He asked looking into her eyes. "Yeah, I remember. You became a dick to me the moment you stepped out of David's office. What the hell does that have to do with my birth mother?" She asked getting antsy. Justin sighed and rubbed his face with his hand as he got up from the bed and started pacing.
"Well," Justin cleared his throat and continued, "dad had tried to figure out who your parents were for years. All he had to go off of was the note they left that said when and where you were born. He looked up all the hospitals in Virginia that may have had a child during 1992 at 11:04 a.m. and came across one. Central State Hospital." Allison looked to her brother with raised eyebrows and questioned "Wait... David was looking for my parents? Why?"
"Mom wanted to know who they were and why they chose to give you up, he didn't find her until last year, it was like the records were missing or something." Allison rolled her eyes and asked irritably, "How can birth records just go missing Justin?" "Just listen." Justin said exasperatedly at his sisters impatience. "When he called me into his office he told me to go to the hospital to find out more about her, so I did." "Why didn't you tell me any of this? What did you find out? Do you know where she lives? Who is she?Wait, do you know who my father is?" Allison spouted question after question wanting to know more.
Justin sadly looked at his sister and grabbed her arm catching her attention. "When I went to the hospital nobody seemed to be able to find any record of your birth so I broke into the files." "Wait... you, Mr. goodie two shoes, broke the law?" Allison asked with a laugh. Justin's face didn't falter from the sad expression etched onto his face. "Yes, Allison I broke the law and got the files." He sighed but continued, " I couldn't find anything on who your father was, but I did find out that your mothers name was Amelia Grace." "Wait... was, as in." Justin nodded his head sadly. "She died in labor."
