𑁍 PHASE II𑁍

The Sun is setting,
She's smiling down.
there's sadness she's not letting,
She hides behind her crown.

The Moon is rising,
He rises alone.
The Sun he is analysing,
He sits quiet on his dark throne.

The Sun burns brighter,
Cries of help escape her warm halo.
The Moon's heart grows tighter,
Helplessly watching her pain grow.

Not once he helps her overcome,
For he cannot touch.
He watches her grow numb,
He wants to hold her in his clutch.

Every once in a while they finally align,
And the Moon holds her close.
He kisses his daughter's hairline,
Letting her know he knows.

It's not the story you expect,
It's not the story you were told.
It's one of a father's duty to protect,
His daughter, until she's cold.
