Alena's POV

I was discharged from the hospital today at 10 am. Tyler led me to my room. I am currently unpacking my stuff in my room, placing all my jeans and dresses in my bed. As I was about to keep those in my cupboards, Chloe barged into my room. "Ah, perfect timing. Do not put those dresses in your closet...your true dresses will be purchased tomorrow "she said smiling, before winking at me. I thought about it for a moment "Do not think about it. Pretty please "she said suddenly hugging me from behind. I seriously do not know how to react as I stood there stunned by her action. She hugged me, it is not awkward but it's new and I feel safe. "O..okay Chloe, "I said smiling.

"Tomorrow by 10 we are going out of the packhouse, "she said smiling like some crazy person. "Wh...why are you smi...smiling like that ?"I asked confused. "You see, I am the only person who knows you are our luna in this whole pack...I am proud of it "she said, her whole body stood straight before bowing down showing her submission. "You know you don't want to do that Chloe," I said, she chuckled "you know you completely speak well when you don't think about your surrounding....you are acting correctly? You do speak well always "this question took me off guard. It was meant to be a secret...

Her look said me do-not-fucking-try-to-lie-to-me. I sighed and nodded. "Then why did you....?" she drew thinking about the possible reasons. "I do not want to talk to people and if they knew I stutter they wouldn't make me talk too much "I shrugged as I said that as if it doesn't even matter. She nodded her head in understanding. "But from now on, if you want my help you are going to do as I say, "she said, her voice seems to be strict but in a mocking way. I nodded. I have no idea what she is going to do to me. She said her goodbye before walking out of the room.

I checked out my room, it was pretty cool. It has a blue colored ceiling and walls with beautiful photographs hung down. I checked the cupboard and bathroom drawers to check whether I can have a blade but there was none. I am not going to use it but in case...I lied down in my bed, thinking about how my life would be after I show my true self. I wish my alpha would accept me as his mate. I know deep down he cares, but I have to wait for everything to happen. As time goes everything will be in place eventually...

I jerked up out of my bed suddenly remembering that I should be in my alphas room tonight. I checked the time and its just 9 pm. I walked down and helped my pack members to cook some food. I finished my work and had some food for myself, before entering my room. I opened the door lock of the joint door to see it was open from the other side. I pushed it open and entered his room...

Perfect timing, I thought to myself as I saw him standing in the middle of the room just covered by a towel...his six packs hard and visible. I gulped not knowing what to do, I mean should I run away or should I pretend I didn't see anything. The second option seemed to be better as I took a pillow and a blanket, walked to the couch and laid down. Alpha seems to be shocked more than me as he stood like a statue in the middle of the room. I cleared my throat "y..you should pro..probably get some dress and re..rest "I said stuttering. He came out of his trance and made his way to his closet. Coming out wearing a black t-shirt and a short, he walked to his bed and lied down....with that I slipped into a wonderful dreamless sleep.

"Oh, shit...it hurts, "I said rubbing my forehead as I fell flat on my stomach. I slowly tilted my head to the right to see alpha David staring at me from his bed. "You speak "he chuckled as if he knew I could speak too well. "I thought you would only curse without stuttering, "he said amused. "Um...I...I don't know Wh..what you are talking about "I said. He growled, "the first rule, do not lie to me ". I sighed "I can speak normally, but I don't want to and that's why I didn't alpha. I am sorry I lied to you "I said, hanging my head low. He nodded his head before lying down on his bed. Seriously !? That's it?

I sighed getting up from the floor. "Sleep in the bed, "he said leaving someplace for me. I couldn't help but smile at him. I walked towards his bed, lying down. I noticed I am engulfed by his scent which is soothing. I closed my eyes again and slipped into a beautiful sleep. I woke up and started moving out of the bed, but felt something heavy pinning my waist to the bed. I looked down to see alphas arm around my small waist. I liked this feeling but suddenly his hand disappeared and I heard an "oh shit..it hurts". I crawled to the other side of the bed to see him on the floor. "What the fuck are you doing here ?" he asked irritated. "Checking on you...I mean you fell down from the bed so I checked whether you are good or not alpha...I am sorry alpha I didn't mean to irritate you "he nodded his head getting up from the floor.

"Good thing you don't stutter or else it would have taken a lifetime to hear your explanation. You are just a scared little omega...I don't know how moon goddess paired you up with me "he said sighing and walking towards the bathroom. He could have stabbed me in the heart than telling that. I need something sharp, I can feel my wolf whine...she woke up and the first thing she hears from his mate is his insult. She is enraged. "You fucking hate me, fine. But you have no fucking rights to insult me "she snapped at him. I tried to take control back, but I couldn't. "You are getting your punishment "he smirked.

He pulled me, and next second my stomach his placed on his lap. Seriously this position and he said he is going to punish me. Does he fucking want to spank me? With that, he spanked me hard, and it hurts like hell. How come he hurts me when I want to inflict pain on myself. "You can feel my emotions " I whispered. He stopped all of a sudden and stood up placing me on the floor. That's a confirmation for my guess. I smiled to myself, he whipped me because he doesn't want me to hurt myself...I understand now....he truly does care about me. My wolf yipped in happiness.

(So there are people who ask..' how could hurting her makes her happy here?'. So the answer for that is...she has been hurt all her life for no reason at all..she makes eye contact she gets hit, she speaks something she gets hit, she doesn't do anything and she gets hit...but when she realizes alpha David hurts her only to distract her from her suicidal thoughts, she feels happy because he does care but shows it in his own way, which is hurting her. I know that's wrong...but that is what he has learned in his life and he thinks what he is doing is correct...

Alena understands he hurts her to distract from her thoughts of dying..that is the likely explanation I can give...I hope you understand:))
