You had found yourself spending a whole week alone. It was quiet in that little cell, isolated from humanity. You had started calling it home almost, pacing from corner to corner, and curling up on your cot every night alone. Without Xavier, you found yourself longing to see him again. It was strange, wanting to get rid of someone but also wanting to view upon their freckled face, with that cotton candy sort of breath... Even hearing his childish giggle would make your day easier, and slip by faster.

You felt grimy, ending up not bathing, since, of course, this old jail cell didn't exactly have a shower, nor regular plumbing. The whole building smelled of dust and rust, gathered underneath the floorboards - or concrete floor, in this case - alongside the walls. It was gross, and eerie, a combination that you enjoyed around Halloween, but not in a place you had never been. You had inspected the area as well, finding things you desired no part in as well! Exciting!

Near the claw marks alongside the wall - underneath some nasty graffiti -, you found a needle, clearly used, and now filled with some kind of mold after whatever kind of fluid was in there had basically turned into a breeding ground for bacteria. Great, so if you wanted to die, you could use that at the very least by stabbing it right into your left big toe. It didn't bring you comfort, mainly it was a dark joke. Now your bank account was clearly over twenty-five cents, for you had found some change lying around, spending a half hour of pure boredom trying to bend a penny. Spoiler alert; it didn't work. After rummaging about blindly, those three objects were all of what you had found except for that broken bottle over there. Cool indeed, shards of glass you can just smash your frail feet onto.

Eventually, Xavier returned, finally. The week had come to a crashing halt, with that boy teleporting between the bars smoothly, and easily right in the middle of one of your pacing episodes. The black smoke, surrounding you in such a small area was nearly strangling, a small cough leaving your lips before the smog cleared. You couldn't help but think of how that smog smelled of ash, and burnt umber. Possibly even burnt rubber?... But it didn't matter, for he was back, and your face lit up like a thousand firecrackers.

"(Y/N), hello." Xavier introduced himself politely, smiling over to your small self with that soft grin of a child that he possessed. He had the type of smile that made you want to reach out and pinch his cheeks, even if he had vicious corruptive ways, that wouldn't stop some people from giving him a good old fashioned boop. However it did stop you this time, far too excited to see him after so long, that you didn't care for his cheeks.

"Hi, Xavier!" You let out rather excitedly, momentarily catching the other partner off-guard, before he recalled exactly how long he had left you alone, only popping in while you slept to slide in a few snacks and food to keep you going until he returned properly. The man smiled softly after the surprise wore off, finding his pupils dilating and his cheeks lighting up excitedly as he gazed into your face. You seemed so delighted to see him, making his heart float on a cloud of cotton candy and in a sea of warm caramel. The type that melts in your mouth as you suck on it, making fuzzies form over his body, and a sweet taste to enter his mouth.

".... I missed you, too." He murmured, not even having to hear you say those words. He knew you wouldn't anyways, but he swore he could see it on your face. Then again, he swore he could see a lot of things on your face and he was still wondering if he was right about most of those.

He swept you up happily in an embrace, tugging you close and holding onto you sweetly for a long couple of seconds. You didn't reject, enjoying the comfort and touch of another "living" being. Your hands flew around him like a bola, locking onto his large figure and encasing him in a sweet aroma of your B.O. What? You hadn't taken a shower in awhile what did you expect? A cotton candy kiss? No. B.O. He however, didn't seem to mind such a smell, nuzzling the top of your grimy little head quietly, leaving a kiss behind and scooping you up in a small twirl. You couldn't help but giggle softly, feeling warm in his embrace after so many days alone. God, it felt good to see someone. Please don't let them leave.
