The Best Of Us [A SaMo Fanfic]

Chapter 1

"You are the one that makes me happy, when everything else turns to grey"

*Two days later*

Momo's pov

My alarm went off at around 5:00 in the morning, I messily reached for my phone at the nightstand beside the bunk bed that me and my elder sister Hana share, I turned off the alarm "five more minutes", then I closed my eyes again

That feeling when you want to leave your bed but you cant because its cold and cozy that you want to sleep in it for the whole day, yeah that's how I felt, a few minutes later, mama went in our room and turned on the light...

"Momo-chan, Hana-chan, wake up! we're driving you to the train station then we're dropping off Momo-chan at the university" 

Oh yeah, I remembered, today is the day we're leaving for college, but I wanted to snuggle in my cold and cozy bed a bit longer but as I much as I wanted to I can't, I got out of bed, still tired and went to the kitchen to see that mama cooked us breakfast, waffles, bacon and eggs...

All of us gathered to eat breakfast, as usual mama's cooking is the best, whether it be breakfast, lunch or dinner shes the best cook in the world and I'll definitely miss this when we go to college, I'll miss mama's home cooked jokbal the most, after breakfast, I went to the room to change out of my pajamas, as I got in our room, I looked around, I'll surely miss sleeping here too... 

"Quit being a drama queen you pabo and get changed already, we're going to pass by Mina's place to pick her up"

"Alright alright and fyi your the one who takes a decade just to get changed" as I stuck out my tongue and me and my sister laughed,early in the morning we're having one of our sibling fights that I'll also surely miss

I got changed into some comfy clothes (A hoodie and ripped jeans) and carried my bag to the back of the car, my sister was right behind me and she put her stuff in the back of the car as well then the both of us sat at the back seat

"Momo-chan dont forget to call us when you get there okay?"

"Okay mama sheesh you've been telling me that yesterday, you also told me about the toothbrush which I already packed by the way, and not to forget about my vitamins which I also packed"

"Momo-chaaan I'm just worried thats all and our girls especially my little girl is off to college without her mamaa" as she pinches my cheeks while oneesan  is covering her mouth giggling

"Geez お母さん(mom) quit smothering our gay little pabo too much" papa chuckled while me and Hana giggled as mama hit papa's arm lightly..

Then we drove off, as we were driving down the street, I looked out the window to see the house getting farther away as we drive down the street, few minutes later we arrive at Mina's place, and there she was waiting on the sidewalk with her parents..

"Minari! put your bags at the back"

"Ok momoring!"

Mr Myoi helped with Mina's bag as Mrs. Myoi was holding their little shiba inu puppy and looking like she was holding back tears, before hopping in the back seat with me and my sister, Mina went running to her parents and giving them kisses and hugs before leaving

"Good morning Mr and Mrs. Hirai"

"Good morning too Mina-chan"

"Are we all set?"

"Yes papaa, lets go before oneesan misses her train"

Luckily the train station was just a 20 minute drive from Mina's house without heavy traffic, as we were driving to the train station, the three of us were catching sleep since we woke up really really early, a few minutes later we woke up to the car coming to a complete stop...

"We're here everyone" 

I helped my sister with her bags out of the back, thanks to mama she got a ticket earlier because mama bought the ticket for the first trip yesterday, the first trip she's taking to Busan was 6:15 so all we have to do was wait 15 minutes

The five of us waited outside a 7-11 store in the station, Papa read the newspaper and mama was chatting with oneesan, I didnt know what they were talking about because I was playing my favorite game on my psp which was tekken, I always played the bear for some reason, either way I find it cute playing a bear in a fighting game

"Attention all passengers bound for the first trip to  Busan, your train has now arrived we will be leaving in 10 minutes"

"Looks like I'll be going now" 

"Hana-chan take care now and dont forget-"

"To call when I arrive at the dorm don't worry mama, papa I will, and Momo-chan take care of yourself okay?"

"I will oneesan don't worry, you should be worried that there might be a zombie on your train" we laughed and then me, mama, papa and oneesan got in a group hug

"Last call for passengers bound for the first trip to Busan"

"I gotta go now I might get left behind" 

We waved goodbye as oneesan waved back then finally boarded the bullet train

"Alrighty we're gonna stop by the gas station first before we drop you two off"

"Can we have something to eat on the way too? I'm hungry"

"Momo-chan we just ate breakfast you're hungry again?!"

"Mama you know I'm always hungry"

"Aiisshhh, always eating its lucky that you're not getting fat though"

The drive to the university where me and mina were going to was just almost an hour away,  papa stopped by a gas station to fill up the car, we bought mcdonald on the way since I was starving...again.

After a few minutes of asking directions from the locals, we finally arrived at the university, the place was huge, we got our things from the back of the car while I helped Mina with her other bag

"Momo-chan, be good and focus on your studies okay?"

"I will mama don't worry about me" as I smiled at mama and papa while on the verge of tears

"Mina-chan look after Momo and make sure nothing bad happens to her okay?"

"I will Mr and Mrs Hirai your daughter is in good hands" Mina smiled and bowed politely at them

As me and Mina were about to walk through the gates of the campus, I dropped my bags then ran to mama and papa hugging them tightly as tears rolled down my face

"My little momo-chan we'll miss you, oh and I almost forgot!" Mama then went back inside the car and got something for me

She gave my bento box and in it was her home cooked jokbal which made me happier and hugged mama and papa again...

"Alright I'll be going now, I'll call when we finish getting settled into our dorm"

"Okay, bye momo-chan good luck!" as they waved goodbye, I waved back at them from the gate and watched until I lost sight of the car as they drove off their way home...

So that was chapter 1 of the story, like I said I'll be updating as soon as possible so calm your gay asses down!!
