The Last Angel

1st Chapter

     Roselyn's POV-

          I was running through the forest, my paws padding against the ground. Yeah, that's right, paws. I'm a werewolf so I can shift into a wolf, well, at least I think I'm a werewolf. All of the other kids said that I can't be, because werewolves can't control the elements. Like they cant command the wind to twirl into a tornado or snap their fingers and make fire light at the tips of the fingers. I'm not sure how I can do it either. A couple of witches were visiting town and I begged them to teach me. Not just that though. I'm also the fastest and strongest out of all the teens. That was because some Vampires taught me, though they were shock at how fast and strong I was. 

        Anyways I was running, running away from the others. They were making fun of me because of my white fur. Because it was unusual and freakish. While I was running my only three friends ran to catch up with me. 

        "Roselyn, you know not to listen to their nonsense." Said Ryder in his dark brown wolf form. His eyes a beautiful green, a forest green. 

        "Yeah! Rosey. Those people are just jealous of your pretty white fur!" Blane exclaimed giving me his perfect wolfy grin in his sandy brown wolf form. His reddish brown eyes flaring beautifully. 

        "Plus all the females are jealous that you CAN shift." Theo stated. His raspy voice breaking out of his beautiful ashy brown wolf. His eyes were a dark sapphire blue. 

        "I know, but look at me!" I barked out as they scanned my wolf features. I was a pure white with the brightest blue eyes anyone has ever seen. Anyone could spot me, especially at night. I was also a few inches bigger than my father, whom is the ALPHA. He should be bigger, but not only that I was the fastest out of all of the wolves. In both this form and human. "I'm a freak.." I trailed off as Theo tackled me down. Pinning me to the ground, growling.

        "YOU ARE NOT A FREAK ROSELYN!" He barked out angrily. His dark sapphire blue eyes staring into my crystal blue ones. "You are beautiful and different.. That is why I- we love you." He said a little calmer now. 

        He got off me and I smiled, well the best a wolf can. We then shifted back, us appearing back in our clothes that were specially made for shifters. I'm not sure where they go, but they are always back on us when we shift back. 

        Blane was grinning at me, his brown hair messy, but he claims it is his usual style. He was what girls find hot. Well, all three of them were. Ryder was paler than all of us but he had really dark brown hair and his green eyes looked more blue in his human form. But the one that appealed to me the most in looks was Theo. His brown hair, his light tanned skin and those beautiful blue eyes that people get lost in. He was my form of gorgeous for a guy. But not as many girls liked him. Said he looked to geeky for them, but to me he was hot. My cheeks started to warm up as I thought all of that. Yeah, I had a small crush on Theo, but I don't want him to laugh at me if he ever found out. Especially since we are best friends.

        We all had became friends when we were babies. Our parents said that we just clicked and would only wanna be near each other. Not with any of the other children. Or what they call pups. It was like we were destined to be friends. But anyways going off topic again.

        It was getting time for all of us to go to the meeting that my father had scheduled. We shifted back and ran. I had to keep a steady pace so I don't dust them away like I do sometimes. Thinking about it made me giggled which just sounded like snorting in wolf form. We ran, the wind was running through our fur. The beautiful sound of the birds chirping and the sound of the water falling from the waterfall which was near our little village.  I leaped over the small stream and slid to a stop, shifting back with the others right behind me. We walked to the middle and I walked over towards my father.

        "I've called you all here today to discuss an important matter." My father started. Making everyone curious on this important matter that he spoke of. "This is towards all 15 year old shifters and their parents." Now this got my attention. "Starting tomorrow all 15 year old shifters will be traveling to the Averlyn Academy. You will be studying their until you graduate. Also, you will be living there except for your holiday break" he said as he spoke, he glanced at me. A small smile filled with sadness made way onto his face. "So, now, go home and pack up." He barked out as he turned around and walked home. Me running to catch up to him.
