Third Person's POV-

"You died though." Myrene gasped out as tears fell.

"But dear sister. I didn't." He replied as his green eyes darkened. "The Generals left me to die. They did nothing to save me!" He yelled.

"What do you mean?" Myrene fumbled for words.

"I mean. I was their distraction. They used me!" He cried out as he glared at Myrene. "And now you are protecting their demon spawn." He spit out.

"That wasn't what they said! They said that you sacrificed yourself!"

"Dear sister. You are a fool!" He practically growled out. "Now help me get rid of that demon spawn!"

"I-" Myrene stuttered as she looked down at Avery. The girl she raised. But then she looked up at her brother. Her flesh and blood. "I-"

Third Person's POV-

Myrene was stuck. She loves her brother but she has grown to love Avery as her own daughter.

"I-" She paused and finally chose what she was going to do. "I will help you."

Izah laughed and made his way to his sister. Placing his hand on her shoulder.

"Correct answer, my dear sister." He spoke in a low voice.

Then he walked up to Avery. Letting his water armor down. As he did, Myrene watched. She was biting hard on her bottom lip as tears fell down her face.

"Just end it quickly." Was her reply as she turned around to face the other way.

     "Will do, Myrene."

Izah lifted up his sword and was about to bring it down. When a sword pierced through his chest. Barely missing his heart.

He gasped as he swung his body around. His sword slicing into the side of the person that stabbed him.

"Why?" He gasped out as he saw it was Myrene.

"She is like a daughter to me. I can't let her die just because of her parents wrong doings." She replied as she held her deep cut.

"So you chose a demon. Over your own blood?" Izah growled out.

"Yes for she is innocent. While you are not, brother." She replied with a growl in her voice.

      "I am innocent." He stated.

"You are not. You are the one that told the Angels that we wanted war!" She yelled.

"How did you know?" Izah asked as he pulled out the sword and dropped to his knees.

"I was there. In the shadows. Your new tattoo gave it away." She replied as she walked over to her brother.

She lifted up his hand, showing him the glowing blue swirl tattoo on the back of his hand.

     "Now I kn-"

Myrene was cut off by Izah standing up and slicing her stomach open.

She fell to the ground, lifeless.

As he turned around to see Avery standing up. Her eyes were fully black. Her black wings out as she screamed while flying towards Izah.

    "YOU KILLED HER!"

Was the last thing Izah heard before his, now headless body, fell to the floor.

Avery flew to Myrene and held her. Sobbing into her chest as she mourned. The only thought in her head was,' If only I was faster.'

    Hush now little baby,
For everything will be alright.
Bring forth that sweet smile,
The smile that brings laughter.
The smile that brings happiness.

So hush now little baby,
It's time for you to rest.
I shall be here for when you wake up.

So sleep my little one,
Close thos eyes and dream a lovely dream.'

Avery sung the lullaby to Myrene as she held her close. Her voice breaking as she sung. Crying her heart out as she sat down with Myrene's body laying in her lap.

As she sung it started to rain. The louder she cried, the harder it rained.

For Avery felt that her world was worthless. Like, without Myrene she should just die.

But she could hear Myrene's voice tell her,' Don't give up. Be strong Avery. Live for ne. Live for your family.'

"I will Myrene. I'll live just for you."

Avery spoke as she made her way back to the cabin. Myrene in her arms.
