If you don't speak Spanish, that means Happy Day Of The Dead!
Today is a very important day in my culture and I wanted to share it with all of you. I'm Hispanic by the way, to be more specific Mexican, even though I look white. Lol
In case you guys didn't know, it's a day where you celebrate the deaths of your loved ones. I know it sounds weird and odd, but we don't view death as a scary thing, it's more so comedic and respectful.
We believe that this day is the one day of the year where our dead family members can return from the land of the dead and visit us. I'm celebrating this and we actually made an Ofrenda for my recently deceased family members as well.
An ofrenda is a stand with a picture of the one you love who has passed away along with all the things they liked. It's really cool and fun to make.
I just wanted to share some of my heritage with you guys! I love you all and hope you guys want to learn more about it too. Hope you all have a good day!
FYI the day of the dead is November 2nd.
