"Today, you will begin the preparation for the ending of the selection program." Only 5 girls remained, Tia was one of them, as was Marie. The other three girls were Merina, that girl who had sabotaged her dress at the carnival, Theodora, a girl from Charlemagne who was pretty loud and super energetic, and Helen from a city-state of Rome, who mostly kept to herself but was usually seen around the castle conversing with a certain head maid.

The only two girls who were determined to make it to the end were Theo and Merina. Theo was nice, she would make a great leader, but Merina wasn't even fit to be royalty. She was spoiled and usually asked for certain benefits. Basically,  no one liked her. Last but not least, Tia wanted to make it to the end, something she never thought would happen.

Besides, it was rumored that the prince actually knew who he'd pick. Still, they each had activities to complete.

Tia was in charge of putting together the tea party outside. The theme chosen was a pretty Prussian blue, with a sort of a cornflower as an accessory color. It was a beautiful monochromatic theme, well, to Tia mostly, since that was her favorite color. 

Everyone was busy at all times. Tia and Marie barely had time to talk. She hasn't even seen Zen, Shirayuki, Mitsuhide, or Kiki in a few days even though their rooms were not that far from each other. 

And Izana, he wasn't even in the city at the moment. He had gone up the mountains to check up on one of the forts there. One of the girls had scared the others by saying that the only reason he would have left is to clear his head about who he would end up picking and rethink his choice. Everyone had dismissed these thoughts, but deep down, those who just wanted to leave were frightened of getting picked and for those who did want to be chosen, including Tia, were all afraid of not getting picked in the end.

But, he would be back in about a week's time, just in time for the ball. No time to discuss the event with even his own brother, Zen.

Tia couldn't just get the thoughts of not being chosen out of her head. Add in the fear of them finding her and she would have had a panic attack if it not for the event that kept her mind busy most of the time.

She just needed a few days then everything will be over. She could either be engaged soon or heading back home. Either was fine for her, because, at the end of the day, it was Izana's choice, and only his say in the decision,  no matter what her feelings for the man meant to him or her.

im so so sorry that this is so late and so short. i hope you guys are doing well. ive been so busy with school and the instagram accounts i have. im sorry this is so short. i havent had the motivation to write ANYTHING.

also, yesterday, my school announced that one of our dear counselors had passed away. he was one of the passionate and most spirited person i have ever met. he hadnt been in school for a few weeks so i thought he was out sick. turns out that he was being investigated for sexual harrassment and no one had said anything that it was true or not and the family hasnt said anything if it was suicide or not. please keep him and his family in your prayers if you do pray. the schools taking it hard, especially the other counselors and his family.

remember what you say or do does take a toll on a person. it may seem like its nothing to you but it might mean so much to others.
