Betty's POV

After a few hours of working I finally finished.

I decided to sneak around the building so Jughead won't notice me.

And thankfully I think he didn't see me, I walked to the parking lot and found Justin leaning against his car.

He had a cigarette between his lips.

Wait since when did he start smoking?

He then suddenly saw me and threw the cigarette on the floor and squished it with his foot.

I walked to him but before I could ask him a question he told me to get in.

And I did what he told me.

Jughead's POV

I was leaning towards my car and saw Betty sneaking around.

A smile formed on my face and as soon as I wanted to call her she walked to this "Justin"
Dude and got into his car.

Did she just ditch me?!

Oh hell no.

What the hell is she doing with him?

I got into the car and started following them.

I need to know what the hell she's doing with Justin.

Betty's POV

As soon as I sat down, he told me to buckle my seat.

He's still the same...

But the smoking?

It wasn't really his thing when we're together.

But I guess everything changes some time to time.

He locked eyes with the road and I just stare at him, remembering how much I loved kissing his cheeks.

Or poking his dimples.

His eyes still shined and sparkled.

Then I remembered that night.

When he got that phone call.

And how I lashed out, leaving him speechless and confused.

I finally spoke up and said, "How's your wife?"

Suddenly his eyes fell into sadness.

He sat there in silence not saying a word.

I rolled my eyes and said, "I still remember how you called me sleeping beauty and my feelings when I saw that you had a fiancée."

He cleared his throat and said, "S-she's cancelled our wedding as soon as she learned that I loved you."

I scoffed and told him, "Why did you lie to me?", he took a deep breath and said, "I never wanted to lie, but I had to."

I rolled my eyes looking at the window as tears form into my eyes and said, "You have no idea how much I loved you and appreciated you being in my life, but when I heard that your fiancée called you, and how you named her sleeping beauty, it broke my heart, and I am sorry for ruining your relationship with her, but please don't lie about never wanting to lie to me or how you had to lie-"

"Because that makes my heart ache even more,-" he cuts me off and said, "Please just leave it in the past I don't want to remember It." I wiped off my tears and said, "You're right, I am sorry for asking."

He was about to say something but then he stopped, he drove into a garage and said, "We're here, a maid is going to direct you to a room and there are plenty of dresses you should pick one before we leave."
