Magdidilim na ng makauwi kami ni Princess galing sa mall. Hindi ganun karami ang pinamili namin kung tutuusin but believe me nasa 700k+ ang binayaran niya. Yes, she was the one who paid. She bought an expensive set of diamond jewelries for me and Diane. Actually, halos lahat ng pinamili namin ngayon ay para sa'min ni Diane at hindi ko alam kung bakit. "No reason" lang ang isinagot niya sa'kin nung tinanong ko siya.
"Woah..are these really for me, Vicky?"
"Yeah. Princess bought us the same things." Sagot ko tsaka naupo sa couch na nandito sa kwarto niya.
"Really?" She asked again and I nodded as a response.
"So, how's your moment with Jake?" Pag iiba ko sa usapan. Nilingon niya ako at sinamaan ng tingin.
"Akala ko ba mag c-cr lang kayo? Bakit hindi na kayo bumalik?"
"Not all the times people have to comeback." Sagot ko na ikinataas ng kaliwang kilay niya.
"Pinagloloko mo ba 'ko?"
"I'm not." Natatawa kong sabi. "So, did something good happen? You're blushing." I said with a grin on my face.
"N-nothing.."
"Really?" Tanong ko tsaka lumapit sakanya at tinignan siya ng diretso sa mata. "Nothing really happened?"
Umiwas siya ng tingin bago sumagot.
"W-we just ate together in the cafeteria. Well he's hungry a-at gusto niya dawng bumawi sa pag abala ni Princess sa'kin."
"Oh? Abala huh." Sambit ko tsaka muling naupo sa kinauupuan ko kanina.
I don't know what's Princess’ really plotting but I'm certain that she means no harm. Though I can't help to wonder.
"You must be really happy then. I bet you talk about lot of things." Nahihiya siyang tumango kaya napangiti ako. She seems happy so I'm happy for her.
*knock* knock* knock*
"Young ladies, nakahanda na po ang hapunan."
"Okay, we'll be there in 3 minutes!"
Kinuha ni Diane ang mga paper bags na nasa kama niya at dinala ito sa walk in closet niya.
"Mamaya ko nalang yun aayusin, tara na sa baba." Ani‘ya. Tumango ako at sumunod sa kanya.
Pagdating namin sa dining ay agad kaming naupo sa usual seats namin. Tahimik kaming nagsimula kumain pero mayamaya ay nag open up ng topic si tito.
"Where have you been this morning, sweetie? I know you only went to school when I called you."
"I visited the book café that Rusty suggested me." Sagot ni Princess na hindi man lang nag abalang tapunan ng tingin si tito.
"Alone?" Jake.
"I went there alone." She replied. "How about you? How's your training with Vin? You seemed really exhausted earlier."
Training? I thought he just spent a day at Vince's place with Rusty. That's what Jake told Drake.
"It was tough, but it got worse when someone called him and they had an argument. He vent out his anger to Rusty and I."
Vent out his anger to them? So he's really their superior. It seemed like we really underestimated him. But, it's not our fault because he was the one who kept his real identity. Malay ba naming isa pala siya sa mga kinakatakotan ng lahat ng mga kabilang sa underground? We had no idea that he's just pretending to be a mere gangster and inferior to us. Thus I can't help but overthink it might be his way of judging if we deserve to be part of Hutchison’ Mafias.
