I badly need a hug tonight
When I'm all alone at midnight
Loneliness seeps in
Goosebumps appear on my skin
Chilling my entire being
I need a hug for my well-being
No hugs coming my way
No matter how much I pray
For the warmth of a hug
The high it gives off like a drug
It's nowhere in sight
Not a possibility tonight
My arms left empty
With nobody to hold
My heart left cold
With no one to warm it
I close my eyes and say goodnight to another hug-less night
