Rip Tide Song - Light

I trust you, I trust everyone

But it never last

Always let down

In the dark looking for the light

Where people are understanding, honest and caring but where is that light, it never comes

I think I see the light so I let people in

I trust them until I discover the light I thought I saw was all just an illusion

I go around always searching but never finding my way out of the chilling darkness

Once again I see light in the distance, I run towards it

I fight for it with every ounce of my existence but it never is enough

I trust you, I trust everyone

But it never lasts

Always let down

In the dark looking for the light

Where people are understanding, honest and caring but where is that light, it never comes

After awhile I just sit in the darkness waiting for it to consume my entire being, waiting and waiting til I see another glimmer of hope for the light that I know deep down inside will eventually be gone as quick as it is to blow out a candle

I trust you, I trust everyone

But it never last

My heart is yearning for the light

I need it so bad, it hurts inside the deepest depths of my soul

It's a never ending wait for the light to come

I see the light one last time

A tear drops from my eye

But the light was only a train that runs me over in the night

I trusted you, I trusted everyone

Never found the light with people who were supposly understanding, honest and caring
