Scaredy Cats!

Taehyung was just mumbling songs to himself when he suddenly had a bright idea.

He scrambles up off his seat and runs to find Jungkook, who was busy sneaking cereal into a bowl.

When he saw Taehyung he jumped in fright, scared and doomed that he was found out. What he didn't expect was for him to grab his wrist tightly and pull him to wherever, cereal bowl still in need of milk.

"Hyung- where-"

"Jimbles!"

Huh? Who the heck was-

"Yes?"

Oh.. Jimin-hyung.

He was holding a toothbrush in his hand, eyes alight with curiosity. Taehyung also ushers him over with quick hand gestures, and within a second Jimin was on Taehyung's other side.

"What's this about?" asks Jimin. "Oh hi Kookie," he coos sweetly. Jungkook waves back with a smile.

Taehyung made a sound that sounded awfully like a suppressed evil laugh. He clears his throat and goes sober.

"My fellow maknaes," he starts with mock seriousness. The other two lean closer. Taehyung rests both hands on their shoulders. "I have a sudden great idea."

The other two grinned devilishly and chuckled darkly, already loving Tae's idea even if they don't know yet.

The day turned to night, the lights began to shut and the people started to head to bed.

Hoseok, with his shiny black hair, yawned widely as he sleepily walked the dim dorm toward his shared room with Jimin.

He opened the door and was prepared to hit the sack when he saw through his peripheral vision that Jimin's bed was still unoccupied. Kid must've stayed in the dance room to practice. He better tell him off tomorrow.

With that, he slid his eyes closed and let sleep override him.

But then he saw a light- no, three lights... hovering? What was that? He doesn't know of any floating lights in his room. Then he heard voices. Creepy deep voices chanting some weird language. What the heck?

Should he open his eyes? He really wants to sleep since he has a rigorous dance practice the next day.

But then the voices were becoming louder, and Hoseok wouldn't admit but he's growing scared. He can't-

"AAAAHHHHH!! AGGHH AARGGHH!"

He jumped out of bed and felt his muscles spasm and jolt with sudden electricity. He shouted and screamed for help because- oh my fuckin'-

Lined up on the side of his bed were three hooded figures wearing black cloaks and holding long lighted candles, their voices in sync as they chanted and sung something out of this world.

By now Hoseok was close to fainting, and he felt his vision go blink blink. He emptied himself of his voice as he kept on screaming and panting and shouting, and by instinct he leapt from his bed to make a beeline toward the next best thing.

"JIN-HYUUNNGG!"

Multiple lights then began to open, bathing the whole dorm in brightness.

Jin's sleepy head appeared from his bedroom door, blinking groggily.

"Wha-"

He wasn't able to continue because Hoseok had choked him with his tight grip on his neck, the younger shivering and muttering unintelligent words.

Jin yelled out a high-pitched scream as he saw three hooded figures trudging slowly toward them, and he banged the door shut, eyes wide and figure trembling.

Hoseok was now limp on the floor, utterly drained yet his face was pale from the dreadful encounter.

"Wh- what are those?" Jin whispers to the wind, shaken and scared.

"I have no idea hyung... I think I just saw Death..." with that, his conscious left him.

The three maknaes laughed and chortled out loud once they were safe in Jungkook's room.

They removed the black cloaks and burst into giggles once more when they remembered their hyungs' terrified expressions.

Jungkook chuckled as he said "I've never seen Hobi-hyung's face so white and big. Didja see his eyes?"

"Yeah and Jin-hyung was so loud I'm surprised the others didn't wake from his scream," commented Jimin as he folded his garment.

Taehyung squeaked in laughter, rectangular smile wide. His eyes were twinkling with mischief.

"Let's do it one more time," he starts. The other two stare curiously at him. "A different way, and a different target."

Jimin's brows furrow. "Who?"

"Jin-hyung."

Jungkook's face looked doubtful. "You sure hyung? I mean, we already got him."

"Yeah but this time it's solely for him. No one need ever know." With another look at the two he added "You in?"

Jin was whistling to himself as he cleaned his room. He shoved Yoongi out so he could clean properly, and he didn't want to be distubed.

As he stooped to pick up a fallen shirt, he saw something from the corner of his eye. He turned around slowly, eyes going wide as dinner plates and his mouth dropped open to give way to a shout.

"A GHOOOSTT!"

The door barged open to give way to Yoongi, eyes wide and breathing ragged. He was flanked behind by a worried Hoseok, hand on the rapper's arm.

Jin began to dance on his spot, latching onto Yoongi's shoulders for safety and pointing at the offending object that hovered near the door.

It was black and had a horrifying mask with an open mouth in a scream, and its cloak danced with the wind in a freaky way.

Yoongi immediately stepped forward to swipe at it before tearing it from its spot, letting the mask and cloak be dragged down by gravity.

"Crazy kids pranked you again Jin-hyung," he said.

As if on cue, boisterous laughter sounded from the halls, the maknaes appearing in sight as they passed by the open door, Taehyung throwing a sneaky wink at the eldest as he and the other two walked away.

Jin's ears and face burned red with embarrassment and rage, and he pushed up his sleeves to give way to his forearms, ready to exact revenge.

"Yoongi,"

"Hm?"

"Clean this room for me while I kill three brats," he seethed, walking forward. "Hoseok let's go."

Hoseok bares his teeth in anger as he follows the eldest, wanting to get his hands on three heads that dared to scare him and his hyung.

Yoongi smirks in the background, thinking that the maknae line are really gonna get it. Oh well... luck to them.

"Ahh hyung we-"

"Ow ow I'm sorry I-"

"Please don't do this hyungie we- ahh mianhae!"
