I was now currently sitting on the back porch while Keanai cleaned my hands. Seeril had taken the bitch away and I felt immensely better. Fuck I really didnt think my emotions were as repressed as they were, go figure they only resurface after I relax. My knuckles were sore and scratched but I was otherwise ok and somehow my pups were far enough away so that they didn't see what happen. Ange cried a little but then I settled him on his tummy on the grass and he stopped. He started motor crawling around like a little snail, it was so cute.
"So will you tell me what happened ?" I looked up and met Keanai's eyes.
"She, Jude bumped into her and she was going to stomp on him. So I pushed her away and she started to insult me in my face, then she insulted my pups. And I just .... snapped. No one insults my babies, they have nothing to be insulted over. So anyone who insults them will get hurt in anyway I can hurt them." I looked down at my hands.
Keanai gently took my chin and lifted my head.
"I dont blame you sweetness, if it was me I would do the same thing." He tucked a strand of hair behind my ear.

I felt my face warm, and my skin tingled when his hand stroked my cheek. It felt nice, his hand was large and calloused, but they were warm and gentle. I felt my head unconsciously lean into his hand, and a soft purr roll in my chest.
"God your perfect." I looked at him, I could've said the same thing to him.
I settled to blush up to my ears and finally look away, while Keanai just smiled and finished wrapping up my knuckles. When he finished he lifted my hands to his lips and kissed the knuckles, dammit my face felt on fire thankfully you couldnt really tell with my skin but still damn it these two will be the death of me.
"Are you alright Riku ?" I looked away from Keanai and looked at Seeril approaching us.
"Mm, I'm fine. They'll heal." Seeril sidestepped Keanai and stood at my side.
He ran his hand through my hair gently and I started purring again. Dammit I can't win with these two can I ? If someone knows a method of keeping a straight face against goddesses best creations someone please tell me. I will not last if this keeps up.

I looked down at my hands and kept myself from blushing even harder.
"Mommy !" My head shot up and I pushed through the alphas and down the stairs.
"Dian what's wrong baby ?!?" I crouched down as he ran over to me tugging on my shirt.
"Come on mommy come on !!" I let him take my hand and lead me to the edge of the clearing.
My pups were all crowded around the edge of the clearing all crouched down looking at something.
"Look mommy, what is it ?" I let Dian pull me down with him to look at whatever it was.
It was definitely an animal, it looked like a squirrel but then it didnt. It had tiny ears and a square shaped head, with a roundish body and almost no tail. This was a obviously a baby, it had now fur and its eyes were closed.
"What is it momma ?" I looked from the animal to Casey.
"I dont know baby boy. Maybe a squirrel ? Or ... a possum ? I really don't
know what it is." I gently picked up the tiny animal.
It was shivering in my hand and wiggled to get warm, I put it in the pocket of my shirt and gently rubbed.
"Can we keep it ?" I looked at Dian.
"Dee we dont know what it is, it might be small right now but it might get big later. And we dont know if its dangerous or not." My poor pups seemed to deflate.
"Riku !!! What happened ?!?" Seeril came over along with Keanai in a huff.
"They found a baby animal, I don't know what it is though ," I showed it to them.
"That, looks like a marmot to me doesn't it Seer ?" Keanai took it from me
and held it.
"Mm looks like it, must have gotten abandoned." I tilted my head.
"Marmot ?" Keanai looked at me.
"Its a rodent, related to a squirrel." Lightbulb. I wasnt too far off with the squirrel take that assholes who say people without educations are stupid. Suck. It.
"Momma keep ?" Jude pulled at my pant leg and made puppy eyes.
"But-" I looked at the marmot.
"They can be domesticated, if you take care of them properly." Now I had four sets of twinkling eyes staring up at me.
I sighed, and gently took the baby back and gave it to Casey.
"You have to take care of it, ok ?" They all gave me big smiles and kisses before running back to the porch to. Ring the baby marmot inside.
"Wheres Ange ?" Neither of the alphas had him.
"Dont worry we set him in a baby pen inside, he started fussing so we just put him in with stuffed animals." My shoulders untensed.
"Ok."
