And that was it from the Feralverse and the Levy's. I hope you guys enjoyed it.

And because I'm uploading this during Christmas 2018, I'll answer some frequently asked questions!

__________________________________________________________

Q: How come Nathan and Nathalia are identical twins? A male and a female can't be identical twins.

A: I could totally play it cool and pretend I took creative liberties - but I didn't. I made a mistake in my research. Anyways, now it's just part of the possibilities for our shifters.

Q: What do the covers mean and why do they look like that?

A: First, why do they look like that: They're digitally painted in photoshop. And the idea behind them was a simple one. I tried to make a whole bunch for Feral and finally came up with that idea based on the fact that there are three brothers; Ryan, Birdie and Che who all have major influences on Nathan. One could argue Ryan doesn't - but his death definitely does in the end. So that was a bit of foreshadowing for ya.

Q: Will Nathan and Che have kids?

A: Nope - but they'll be awesome uncles.

Q: FIB of FBI?

FIB = Feral Investigation Bureau. Fun fact, it used to be Feral Investigation Programme - FIP.

Other fun bits from behind the scenes:

I struggled for about 8 months to finish Free. In the meantime, I wrote Frej Rising, which - with editing - took about 7 months. Free took more than a year to write from start to finish. (And I'm still not entirely satisfied)

The Feral Series has been hard to write and I often had to take breaks. While writing it I wrote The Saga and additionally 13 spin-off books for that series. Feral was honestly a battle since the beginning of the first book.

To this day I don't know where the idea of making a world of shifters came from. I think it just came with writing the first scene in Feral (the one in the airport) but I honestly can't say.

I thought I was setting up Nathan and Birdie, but decided against it as there was too much of a power division. I didn't like Nathan ending up with what is essentially his therapist. I had already introduced Che at this point and it kind of just... Happened that they ended up together in that prison bathroom.

I knew Nathalia and Birdie would end up together from the moment I introduced her. This was also one of the only things I actually planned out for the series.

Birdie was the one who was supposed to die - not Ryan. But I thought Nathan had been through enough at that point and Ryan's death would still hold enough of an impact on Nathan. I'm not sure he'd ever get over Birdie dying. Or if I would.

And now for some extra extra bonus. At one point I wanted to make Feral into a comic and here are some shitty sketches from that time:

It never made it past this sketching stage because I realised I am nowhere near good enough to do this on my own

So, that's it folks. Hope you enjoyed The Feral Series. You've all been super with the critiques and I'll be editing the series so there might be new chapters popping up every now and again.
