" TERROR MADE ME CRUEL "

Blake already felt drained as it is, but when he realized his dead sister was invading his dreams once again he really just wanted peaceful sleep.
"What Quetsiya?"
Blake sighed.
"Don't use the tone with me Blácameac, I'm your big sister."
Blake winced at his horrid birth name.
"Please don't call me that."
"I'll do as I please."
Quetsiya glared.
Suddenly a loud piercing noise filled the air.
Blake hunched over covering his ears as the screeched reached them.
"Do as I tell you."
Quetsiya hissed disappearing.
Blake screamed as he felt his ears began to bleed.
"Stop! Stop!"
He tried to scream over the noise.
"Wake up!"

Blake shot straight out of bad gasping for breath.
He quickly calmed down his usual glare settled on his face.
He truly did despise his sister.
Blake trudged out of his room into the foyer of the mansion.
"And what do you think you're doing?"
Blake asked catching Elijah trying to sneak out.
"No where of importance."
Elijah grinned stopping momentarily before continuing his quick strides.
"Farewell to you too."
Blake rolled his eyes.
"What are you pouting about?"
Klaus smirked at Blake, walking past him with a palette.
Blake followed eagerly, wanting to see what Klaus was painting.
He was amazed when he walked into the study to see a sunset, all different colors in one painting.
"Niklaus..."
Blake trailed off in awe, something swelling in his chest that he'd never felt before.
"I know."
Klaus grinned making Blake smile.
"It's amazing."
Blake observed the mix of pink, yellow, and so many other colors.
For a while the two just stood, staring at the sunset.

Blake found himself going to the Salvatore house again, for what reason he had no clue.
He knocked on the door almost shyly, rubbing the back of his neck.
"Oh. Hey!"
Stefan grinned, shocked but pleased.
"Uh hi, I was wondering if you were like, just or something?"
Blake shrugged rubbing the back of his neck.
"Oh no, come in."
Stefan gave a kind smile.
"I just wanted to tell you that-"
A knock on the door made Blake stop as Stefan went to answer.
"Ready for our date?"
Caroline smiled brightly at the door.
"Uh, did you need to tell me something Blake?"
Stefan rose an eyebrow with a kind smile.
"Oh no go on mate."
Blake grinned as Stefan and Caroline left the boarding house.
"I just can't stop thinking about you."
Blake sighed flopping down on the couch with a sigh.
Blake rolled his eyes feeling his phone buzz.
