"FAIR IS FOUL AND FOUL IS FAIR"

Blake didn't know how long he remained outside the Salvatore boarding house.
Tears were streaming down his face, unable to stop as thousands of decades of emotion washed over him at once.
The boy was shaking, his eyes dark as he felt grief and guilt pull on his heart.
"Blake?"
A soft voice called out to the boy.
Said boy look up slowly, licking his lips as he saw Rebekah approaching him.
"Are you alright?"
Rebekah crouched in front of the supernatural being.
Blake said nothing, merely continued to shake as he tried to sort through all the things he'd been avoiding for so long.
Blake opened and closed his mouth, tears staining his lips.
He looked up to Rebekah, the blonde resting a hand on his cheek.
"Did I hurt all those people?"
Blake whispered softly, his voice so shaky Rebekah almost didn't understand.
"No, no. Everything's okay."
Rebekah eased the boy, running a hand through his hair softly.
"Niklaus is waiting for you, do you want to go home?"
Rebekah asked, her voice calm.
Blake found comfort in the motherly tone, nodding his head softly as he let Rebekah help him up.
"I didn't mean to be so awful."
Blake whispered as he and Rebekah made their way home.
"I know."
The blonde told him simply.
"I'm really sorry."
"I know."
Blake sniffled, wiping his face as the tears finally stopped.
Rebekah sighed, hooking her arms with Blake's as the continued to walk.
"Are you okay?"
Blake nodded softly, squeezing the girl's arm softly.
"Don't lie to me Blake. It's not flattering."
Rebekah gave a soft smile, sympathy for the boy consuming her.
Blake merely offered a fake smile, opening the door to the mansion and slowly wandering inside.
"I'm going to get some sleep,"
Blake sighed out, the dark circles heavy under his eyes.
"I can't remember the last time I was able to sleep."
