"TO BE IS TO BE PERCEIVED"

"So it worked?"
Stefan asked Rebekah over the phone, the original glancing toward Blake's room to make sure the boy was still asleep.
"Like a charm,"
The blonde grinned.
"He isn't a maniac anymore, which you can thank me and my brilliant plan for that."
She smirked, tossing her hair over her shoulder.
"Now what?"
"Well I assume we have to let him heal briefly, he's pretty shaken up about all the chaos he created."
Rebekah sighed, pacing the mansion as she held the phone to her ear.
"Can I help?"
"Maybe if you talk to him, I'll send him to the grill once he wakes up."
Rebekah hung up the phone with a grin as she heard Blake open his door.
"Hello love,"
She smiled at the brunette as he made his way downstairs.
"Hey Bekah."
He gave a small smile.
"Feeling better?"
"Much actually."
Blake grinned at her.
"Good enough to go out and get a drink?"
The blonde grinned, holding out her hand.
Blake took it with a laugh, the two making their way to the grill hand in hand.

"Blake, how are you feeling?"
Stefan asked softly, leaning on the bar beside the boy.
"I'm actually pretty good."
The brown eyed boy smiled.
"That's good,"
Stefan smiled back.
"I didn't mean all those things I said yesterday I-"
"You were just helping Rebekah, yeah I heard your phone call. She forgets I have supernatural hearing as well."
The two shared a soft laugh.
"So, if you're not busy, do you still want to go on that date?"
Stefan asked softly.
"I'd love to."
