As a disclaimer, I know that Christmas isn't a thing in the Avatar universe, but I wanted to do something special for you guys because it's the holiday season, so enjoy!

You were woken up by your egg nog induced slumber by the repeated strikes on your body by a pillow.

Asami: Come on! Wake up!

Asami was wide awake, still in her nightgown, striking you with her pillow.

Asami continued to strike you with her pillow.

You: Five more minutes...

Asami: No five more minutes! We got Christmas stuff to do!

You hazily got up, admiring the view of Republic City from your penthouse apartment.

You: Do we have to shop today? It's like...cold outside.

Asami: Quit being a Grinch and get dressed.

Asami kisses you on your Grinchy lips.

Asami: Love you.

Asami left the room to get dressed herself.

You put on your best attire, and went down to meet Asami in the lobby.

Asami: You look good...but something's missing...

Asami quickly put a Santa hat on you.

Asami: Perfect!

You smiled at the joy on Asami's face.

You: (sigh) The things I do to make you smile.

Asami: You do spoil me, now let's go!

Asami took your hand and pulled you into the snowy outside and into the back of a luxury car, with a driver waiting.

Asami: Driver, take us to the shopping center.

Driver: Right away, Miss Sato.

The car drove off.

Asami: So we need to get gifts for Korra, Mako, Bolin, Tenzin and his family...

You smiled.

You: I feel for the guy that's gotta pick up that check.

Asami smiled at you and grabbed your arm.

Asami: Don't worry tightwad, I'll split it with you.

You: Don't worry about it hon. I got it.

Asami: C'mom, it doesn't feel right to let you pay for everything.

You: I got plenty of money, it's fine.

Asami: It won't feel right, please?

You: (sigh) if you insist.

Asami kissed you on the cheek.

Asami: Love you babe.

Driver: We've arrived Miss Sato.

You both got out of the car and entered the shopping center.

Asami looked at the shopping center map.

Asami: Okay...we should probably start at the clothes store...then the toy sto-oh my god.

You: Everything okay, hon?

Asami: They. Have. AN ICE-RINK!!!

You: Maybe we should shop fi-

Asami: No time! Let's go before it gets too crowded!

Asami rushed ahead and left you dumbfounded.
