Once we stepped inside the school, we saw Mariana

"Well, what do we have here?" She asked walking up to us

"What chu mean?" I asked

"Well y'all walking into school, matching and shit, are y'all dating? Or just happened to plan this?" She asked

"Actually we Didn't even plan this, it just happened" Santiago said

"Mmhmm, sure" Mariana said not fully conviced

"Well the bells about to ring, see y'all later" Santiago said running off to class

"Bye" Mariana and I said together, after Mariana saw no site of Santiago she gave me a look

"What?" I asked

"What's up with you and Santi?" She asked

"Nothing" I said, and its true, okay I may have a tiny crush on Santiago but Its nothing major

"C'mon lets go to class" she said

We now had lunch, the cholos were sitting with us today, Santiago was sitting next to me

Amado would flirt with me and get a little Too touchy with me at times and I saw that made Santi furious, but why would he be furious? We're just friends I guess, well Almost all the boys at Lincoln Heights like me, but never get furious over something stupid, I mean I know that Amado is joking around

I nodded and we started walking out of the cafeteria

Once we were out I felt My back was pressed against the wall, and I felt Ádrian's lips on mine, I didn't kiss back at first because I was taken by surprised, buh eventually relaxed and kissed him back, I wrapped my legs around his torso, and he kept his hands on my butt so held me up, Soon I realized We were now making out

I heard the door close and I broke away and I looked over at the door and saw Santiago standing there, Ádrian let me go, Santiago looked furious, soon he burst out of there

"Santiago wait!" I yelled chasing after him, damn he was fast, he wasn't even running, I kept Calling his name buh he never turned around, I finally caught up to him

"Santia-" I said grabbing his arm, buh that was something a shouldn't have done, because the back of his hand met my cheek

I grabbed My cheek and Looked at Santiago, once he realized what he had done, his face softened and took a step closer

"Cata-" he started off, buh I instantly ran off

"Catalina! Catalina!" He kept calling after me buh I kept running

I wasn't crying, I wasn't about to show my weakness,

Soon I ran into someone, I looked up and saw it was Ádrian, he looked down at me and saw that my cheek was purple, he started to get furious

"Catalina! What happened? Did Santiago slap you? I'm going to kill him" he said about to go on a hunt for Santiago

"No wait, can you please just stay with me?" I asked, he sighed but then nodded

He opened his arms, and pulled me into an embrace we just hugged for about two minutes But then I took out my phone and checked the time

I saw we only had 10 minutes until the bell

"We should go get our stuff" I said looking up to Ádrian

He simply nodded

We walked back in and I kept my head down so No one could notice I had a bruised cheek

Once we go to our table I looked up and all their eyes widened

"Catalina! What happened?" Sofia asked

"Santiago slapped her" Ádrian said in a cold tone

"What? Santiago would never do anything like that" Renata said

"Yeah, that's true" Carlos said

"It was an accident" I budged in

"Well come here, let go to the bathroom so We can cover that up with makeup, if the teachers here see you with just a tiny paper cut on your finger, they think you're being abused at home" Natalia said

"Now That's just retarted" Miguel said

"I know right?" Diego asked

All the girls got up and led me towards the nearest Girl's bathroom, While walking to the bathroom I saw Santiago and another girl swallowing face, I instantly got furious, what the actual fuck? Why the hell would I be furious? I asked myself

All the girls and I got to the bathroom

Almost instantly They started attacking my face

After they were done, I looked in the mirror and the bruise was covered, and It didnt even look like I had makeup on, I was impressed

"Thank you guys" I said hugging all of them

"Well time to go back to hell" I said

We grabbed our stuff and walked out
