"If My team wins You have to buy me Chinese food" I said to Santiago
"And If My team wins, you owe me another period in the Janitors Closet" he said
"May the best female win" I said shaking his hand, both of us smirking
Its was Josiah, Valentina, Lucas, Jordan, Natalia, Alec, and I on one team and Fernando, Miguel, Diego, Angél, Carlos, Andrés, and Santiago on the other team
Mariana blew the whistle and threw the ball up into the air, I jumped and so did Santiago, threw the ball to Alec, he ran and dribbled it, I ran to mid court and stopped, Alec pastes the ball to Valentina, she then tricked everyone into making them think she was going to shoot the ball, but instead she passed it to me, leaving everyone dumbfounded, I shot the ball and made it in
"Yes!" I said to myself
My team came up to me and hi-fived me. Santiago took the ball and went outside the court, Mariana blew the whistle and he passed the ball to Fernando. Fernando dribbled the ball and ran to the basket, Natalia winked at him, getting him distracted, then Josiah stole the ball from him and dribbled his way to the basket, I ran on the other side of him, he then bounce passed me the ball. I dribbled it and dunked it
"Fuck yea!" I screamed high-fiving Josiah
This kept going on until The score was currently 9-7 my team obviously in the lead
Santiago and I stood in the middle of the court prepared to get the ball. Mariana blew the whistle, threw the ball into the air and Santiago and I jumped to get the ball, I was surprised that this time Santiago actually got the ball and passed it to Miguel
He dribbled it and ran to the basket, Jordan tried blocking his shot buh then suddenly he made it in. Fuck.
Josiah grabbed the ball stepped off court. Mariana blew her whistle and Josiah passed it to Lucas, Lucas passed it back to Josiah. He dribbled it towards the basket he shot the ball but Diego Jumped took the ball, dribbled it towards the opposite basket and shot it
"Fuck!" I said to myself
"Game point!" Mariana yelled
I sure as he know, I'm not going to let Santiago and his Mariachi band win this game. Valentina stepped out court with the ball. Mariana blew her whistle and Valentina passed it the ball to Jordan, who passed it back to Valentina. She dribbled it towards the basket. I ran to mid court and saw my team formed a circle on the court, I smirked to myself. Valentina passed it to Alec, who passed it to Jordan, who passed it to Natalia who passed it to Lucas, who passed it to Josiah, who passed it to me, I shot the ball and it went into the net.
"Nothing but net!!!" I yelled after the ball made it into the net
Josiah, Lucas, Adam, Alec, Jordan and The girls cheered and ran up to hug me
Santiago walked up to me, making everyone go silent and making them take a couple steps back
"Nice job Sanchez" he said
"Right back at cha Vásquez" I said
