Beys POV
The next morning
10:48am
"Kyre wake up." I said gently shaking him and slowly woke up. I had already gotten myself together, he just had to get ready. Kelly was downstairs with Kia and I had already caught her up on what happened. Luckily we were both off of work today so we had time to think about what was about to happen.
"Get freshened up and put on some clothes, we're going out to eat." I told him and he said okay in a raspy voice. And went to his room.
I went back downstairs to talk to kelly about what we were going to do. When I got down there I grabbed Kia from kelly and swung her around kissing all over her face while she just laughed. Then I sat down with her snuggled up against me.
"So what are we gonna do with him?" She said sighing. "We can't take him back to her, and he not going in foster care, that's a big no." She said while I thought. I mean the answer was obvious but I didn't know how jay would feel about it. But he was like my son and I loved him so much. I couldn't let him be in any dangerous situation.
"He'll just have to stay with me, but I gotta see what's up with jay and how he's gonna feel about it. I just want my baby to be okay though." I said and she nodded
"Well if he says no he can stay with me, but your his first option. He's more like your son anyways." She said and I nodded then he came downstairs and sat next to me laying his head on my shoulder after hugging Kelly. I took my free hand and wrapped it around his shoulder and kissing his forehead.
"Y'all ready to go?" Kelly asked and we said yeah and got up and we grabbed our stuff and left out. I strapped Kia up in her car seat then hopped in the passenger seat while kelly got in the drivers seat and Kyre got in the back. We drove to ihop and got out the car with Kyre carrying Kia and Kelly and I walking behind them. He loved her like she was his own little sister and it was so cute because she adored him.
Kelly and I just talked about random things while Kyre and Kia played together. We got seated really quickly and as soon as we ordered the food Kyre cleared his throat like he had something to say.
"Um do I have to go back home today?" He asked softly and I shook my head
"No, we're not letting you go back there. Kelly and I are trying to figure something out but until then your with me, is that cool with you?" I asked and he smiled and nodded
"I wish I could stay with you, I just don't want to go back there again." He said and I nodded so did kelly
"Trust me, we don't want you going back so we're going to do everything in our power to make sure you don't." She said while I agreed
"Okay, thank you, I really appreciate and love y'all so much. You didn't have to take me in but when you found out my situation you always made sure I was straight and I will forever love y'all for that." He said genuinely making a couple of years slip down my eyes.
"We love you more baby, and we're happy you came into our lives." I said and Kelly said the same.
After we talked for a while about what we were going to do after this. We were going to go to the mall and take him shopping, then we were going to get him some school supplies because we found out his mom didn't get him any. Then we were going to stock up my fridge for him.
I really did love this little boy.
When the food got there we ate and Kyre helped Kia eat while eating some of his food. She even ate some of his food. Kelly and I talked about what we were doing for her birthday since it was next month and she said she wanted to go to Bora Bora with her close friends and her man and we could bring ours. I loved that idea. Jay and I haven't been anywhere together besides Texas and I was so really for him to come back.
