After she witnessed her father's murder, and escaped the hands of death, Alexandra King vowed to get revenge on Cliff Coldwell, the man who took everything away from her. Twelve years later, she returned with a new identity, ready to set her plans in motion.

To worm her way up, Alex took the only opportunity she could get, and applied as personal assistant to Lauren Harrington, Ethan Coldwell's fiancee, with an initial plan in mind: to get in touch with Ethan, the only son of Cliff Coldwell, and make him fall for her, before ruining him.

But what if the unexpected happened?

What if Lauren Harrington fell for her instead? Would it change everything, and ruin her plans for revenge?...

And what if she started falling for her too? Would she give up her love, for revenge?...Or would she choose love over redress?
