I may not be able to post today, so I'm posting a preview of Chapter 23 to hopefully get you guys excited. I've picked the juiciest parts from the flashback part and the present day part of this very long (It will actually be the longs around 5000 to 7000 words) and action-packed chapter that contains not only your past but a full-blown fight scene! I'm also starting to use Grammarly to improve the grammar in this book so I'm going to be going through the story and correcting any spelling mistakes.
You remember you were only 10 at the time. Very gullible and trusted everyone you met, even if it's been only 2-second since you met that person, and it was no exception to him. You remember your mom wanted you to have a father figure in your life since you never had one, the others would just come and go not really leaving any impact on you and nothing out of the ordinary. But you remember something felt off about him, how he set of all your red flags, but you just ignored it thinking it was just something that happens when girls go through puberty. Sammy turned his head around and glanced at his blindfolded sister before turning his head back around and took a deep breath "Listen, I'm sure we can all be reasonable people and reach some sort of compromise without the-" suddenly he heard a sound he hoped he would never have to hear, Charlotte's muffled screams. He turned his head only to see no Charlotte, Ava, or Mai. He heard sounds of a fight happening to his left, when he turned he saw 4 of the agents trying to take Charlotte to their main vehicle, while Ava and Mai struggled to overpower the agents.
