HAYLEY HAD SHOWED UP AT THE COMPOUND. She told me that Jackson and Oliver went out yesterday to run an errand for Klaus but they weren't back yet.

"Where the hell are they?" I asked. Hayley sat down

"Who exactly are 'they' and why are we worried?" Elijah questioned as he entered the room we were in

"Jackson and Oliver haven't returned," Hayley told him

"They can manage themselves can't they?"

"They were supposed to run an errand for Klaus. Call him" I demanded

Elijah did as I said and called his brother, "It appears our wolves have gone astray, brother" he told Klaus when he answered the phone

"They should have been back hours ago," I said

"We need to find them" Elijah added

"Well, that might be a bit tricky. You see, we've located their car on a back road in the middle of nowhere. I suspect they've been shanghaied"

Hayley and I exchanged a look, "And you didn't feel the need to share this information?"

"It was my intention to present you with a problem only after I had found an appropriate solution"

"Well, do enlighten us"

"I'm closing in on it as we speak. The only person who would be bold enough to snatch my wolf allies is the one who has the most to lose"

"Marcel"

"No, he'll kill them," Hayley said

"Genevieve assures me that Marcel has procured a cloaking spell. The only witch who will aid Marcel is Davina. I just need to get one last bit of leverage before I pay her a visit and there it is"

Klaus hung up. Elijah looked at Hayley and I, "We'll get them back"

I WAS PACING AROUND IN THE UPSTAIRS LIVINGROOM, WORRYING. Hayley threw her head backward, groaning, "Can you stop that?"

I sighed and looked at her, "They should have called by now"

"Worrying isn't going to help" Hayley and I turned around to see Genevieve entering the room, "You should sit down, try to keep calm," she told me
