Clark gazed from Bruce to the wand waiting for a strike as Bruce growled out "What are you doing here?"
Clark flinched at how much menace was carried in his voice, it took all of his will power not to stutter as he said "I came here to help you, you will only harm yourself through this witch hunt. Stop all of this and leave the authorities to handle this matters themselves and we can go back home like a happy family" by this point Calrk reached his hand out
Bruce glared at the hand and said "And you expect me to believe a man you practically more than willingly sell his family to the devil for the 'greater good' ? I didn't think you would be this stupid" a fiber of magic escaped from Bruce's wand warningly "I am not going anywhere"
Clark glared at Bruce's stubbornness, why couldn't he see?! Why wouldn't he reason and realize that this whole thing was pointless!?!?!?!?! Bruce won't get anything from killing Black! They could finally go back home together and live the happy life they dreamed of, and yet-!
"I will make you come with me, even if it will be the last thing I do" replied Clark looking straight into Bruce's eyes
Another spark of magic came from Bruce's wand as he narrowed his eyes at his former husband "So be it"
Dumbledore's office
"Hmm, interesting" mumbled Dick as he read through the papers
"Did you find something?" asked Ginny
"I'm not sure," began Dick "but according to this document the bank itself did not have anything to do with the acces closing to Dumbledor, but I can't be sure unless we find the document connected to it"
"Hey, I think I found something!" exclaimed Luna, and just when she said it they heard the rustling behind the door
"O-oh" was all that came out from Ginny
"Tch, quick, grab all the papers that you can and go through the window I'll go right behind you" commanded Dick
The girls did as it was told and clenched tightly on the rope, Dick followed suit and just as he grabbed on the rope the door opened.
"There, a simle unblocking charm that my granpa taught me surely does it's work right" said Zatanna as she and Diana went inside
"We can discuss about this later, now we need to find everything that's vital to our cause" said Diana
They were comming closer to the window, Dick looked up at the two girls "Quick, climb up I will follow right behind you" the girls nodded and started to climb up.
Suddenly, a bird flew right beside them causing Ginny to shrike as it started mess with her clothes, unfortunetly she started fiddling a lot causing the rope to move.
"Ginny calm down" Dick tried to calm the situation but it did not help and when he was about to reach her the rope started dangling furiously making Dick's other hand slip.
He was falling
"DICK !" yelled the two girls in unison
'No worries I can just fly myself out of here' he thought as he tried to fly up but it didn't work 'O-oh'
What was happening? Why couldn't he fly? He looked at his hands and at his ropes they were all covered it green dust 'Kryptonite? It must've stayed on the rope from one of my missions, dammit!'
