Me and Vanessa were at Starbucks. We were sitting at a table both with coffee in our hands.
Vanessa: This is awkward
Zach: Why?
Vanessa: Because I barely know you
Zach: Well then tell me about yourself
Vanessa: Well there's not much to tell. I'm 22, going to school and I'm single. How about yourself?
Zach: Uhm I'm 23, unemployed and I have a wonderful boyfriend
Vanessa: Boyfriend?
Zach: Yes why do you have a problem with me being gay?
Vanessa: No what I have a problem with is you cheating on your boyfriend
Zach: I'm not cheating on him!!
Vanessa: Well you're on a date
Zach: This isn't a date!
Vanessa: It pretty much is. So where is he now? At your guys' house oblivious to what's going on?
Zach: Actually he lives in New York
Vanessa: Oh. Long distance relationship huh?
Zach: Yeah it's been hard
Vanessa: Well you made a pretty shitty first impression but I can tell you're not that bad of a guy
Zach: Thanks
Vanessa: I'd really like to get to know you more. How about we go to my place?
Zach: Okay yeah I'd like that
We got up and headed to her apartment. I can tell this is the beginning to a great friendship.
