Warning: I confess, I'm an idiot in some areas of knowledge, so I'd appreciate if you'd comment, that way I'll know whether or not I should continue the story. Please and thank you.
(Y/N) POV:
Hey, (Y/N) (M/N) (L/N) here. I have (H/L) (H/C) with (F/H/C) in my hair (I think highlights are cool, but if you don't like highlights in your hair, then no problem) and (E/C), and this is Coolsville, a small town. This small town is where I live. I've lived here my whole life and have never once stepped one foot outside of town, which in my opinion is a bummer.
Now, before you ask "where is Shaggy", don't worry. He and I are still friends; have been since 1st Grade. The thing is, is that we live together in the same house with his parents. And the reason why is because both of my parents are dead.
My dad was a detective, and he was really good at it, especially when my mom would sometimes help him solve cases. But during one of those cases, my dad had found some top secret information. Because of that, whoever wanted that information to be kept secret, that same person killed my parents. And I've been an orphan since then.
Since my mom used to be friends with Shaggy's mom in their college years, Shaggy and his parents were very insistent that I live with them. And that's what I've been doing, living with Shaggy and his family, since I have nowhere else to go. But like my dad, I have a love for mysteries and have been working hard on becoming a detective one day, so that I can one day find the person who killed my parents and have that person placed behind bars. Shaggy knows about it, and even though he doesn't like the idea of me getting hurt, he's still supportive of me to let me do what I love most. But before I can become a detective, I first have to graduate high-school.
"Shaggy! Come on! We're going to be late!" I exclaim, running across the side-walk.
Shaggy follows close behind me. "I'm coming (N/N)!"
Shaggy and I are great friends, but we still have...problems. One of those problems is that Shaggy and I both overslept through our alarms today, mostly because our clocks don't work as well as they used to. We had to rush to get ready and even had to skip breakfast so that we wouldn't miss the bus.
Thinking that all passengers had arrived for the day, Sam, the bus driver was getting ready to leave. (I don't know his name, so go with it)
"Like, wait for us!" Shaggy calls out.
As soon as we catch up to the bus, I quickly grab the back of Shaggy's shirt, making him back up a little so that the bus door doesn't accidentally hit him in the face.
"Like, thanks, (N/N)," he says.
"Welcome," I respond, getting on the bus. "Hi, Sam,"
He nods his head. "Hi, (Y/N),"
Shaggy follows behind me. "Thanks. It won't happen again,"
As soon as we're on the bus, Sam starts to drive, taking us to school. Now, the only problem is picking a spot to sit. I'm one thing, but since Shaggy isn't...popular; most kids find him weird and too goofy to be around, which is why I'm his only friend. Basically, almost every kid in our school thinks he's lame, while I'm the only one who considers him to be a great friend to be around.
As for me, my reputation is a lot worse. I'm known as the bad kid of the school. It's not that I like getting into trouble. I just hate it when people get picked on all the time by bullies.
I always try to stick up for those who are being bullied, but because of that, it always gets me into a lot of trouble. Instead of thinking that I'm helping people, everyone somehow got it into their heads, thinking that I love to pick fights with others, and that makes them too afraid to be around me. But at least Shaggy understands that I'm just doing what I can to help people, which is why I think he's an even greater friend to have than anyone else in our school.
