(Y/N) POV:
After the incident last night at the school, I was able to make it home okay. But somehow, Shaggy, Scooby and (F/A/N) never came back. I got lucky when Shaggy's parents believed my lie when they asked me about what happened to them. I was even able to hide my injured hand, so that they wouldn't notice. I hate lying to them, especially after all they've done for me over the years, but what else was I supposed to say?
Can't tell? Got attacked by ghosts? Anyways, I left the house to meet up with Fred. Since neither of us had seen (F/A/N), Shaggy or Scooby, we were hoping the girls might've seen them. Once we notice them, Fred and I don't hesitate to run and catch up with them.
"Hey, wait up. Wait up," Fred says, getting the girls' attention.
We see the girls, but no Shaggy, Scooby or (F/A/N). Then all of a sudden, Daphne begins to hug Fred, making Velma and I look at each other, both confused on what just happened. Even Fred's in shock from suddenly getting hugged by her.
"You're okay. I was gonna call you but I didn't know your last name," says Daphne.
"Really?" Fred asks, sounding happy by the sound of it. "You were gonna call me?"
"Yeah, I didn't -- I thought if you got stuck in the school...then we'd all get in more trouble, and I didn't want that so--," Daphne tries to explain.
"Yeah. That's why you were gonna call," says Fred, still smiling at Daphne like a kid experiencing his first crush. "My last name's Jones,"
Daphne returns the smile. "Mine's Blake,"
"Dinkley," says Velma, making Fred and Daphne snap out of their romantic trance.
"Pardon?" Fred asks.
"My surname. It's Dinkley," Velma explains.
"And mine's (L/N)," I say, deciding to join in on the subject.
"Oh, cool," says Fred.
The four of us then begin walking down the path to the school, still making conversation with each other. That's when Velma's attention is drawn to my hand, noticing that it's covered in bandages.
"What happened to you hand?" she asks, taking a look at it.
"Oh, this? It happened when Fred and I were trying to get out of the school building last night. The ghosts caused some damage, making the windows smash into pieces. I accidentally fell and cut it on some glass," I explain, trying to make it sound like it's no big deal.
"Yeah. After that we headed back to his place to patch it up," says Fred.
"Does it hurt?" Daphne asks, looking concerned.
"Yeah, but not anymore. I've dealt with worse stuff that this. So, it's no big deal," I answer.
Fred then changes the subject. "So, Dinkley and Blake, you guys heard from (F/A/N), Shaggy and Scooby?"
Hearing that makes girls give us a confused look. "I was hoping they got out with you and (Y/N)," says Daphne.
Why do I suddenly have a bad feeling and feel a chill going down my spine?
(F/A/N) POV:
This is just great! And before you ask, it's like this. When Shaggy, Scooby and I had split up from the others, running away from the ghosts, we ended up running all the way to the school's kitchen. During that time, Shaggy and Scooby decided to stop for a quick snack. That is, until Prudence appeared, scaring Shaggy and Scooby half to death.
