(Y/N) POV:

While walking away from the school, Shaggy explained to us about who our suspects might be. From what he told us, the Janitor said something about hating the school a few days ago, and how he never wanted to be a Janitor. Then there's the librarian, who was complaining about her job when we were sent to detention. Despite how little evidence we have, we don't have any other options. Besides, if it means clearing our names, we'll have to take what we can get to solve this mystery.

"Well, thanks to Shaggy, now we have our suspects," says Fred.

"Yeah. Now the only problem is, how are we going to investigate them without being seen anywhere near the school?" I ask.

"Exactly. WE can't be seen anywhere near the school," says Daphne, making the rest of us become confused.

"Cool. An invisibility serum?" Shaggy asks.

"Actually, I was thinking of a more theatrical approach," says Daphne.

Hearing that, we're still confused. It wasn't until the day after when we finally figured out what she meant. To sneak in the school, we had to go in disguises, which meant changing our appearances so that we're not recognizable. While (F/A/N) and the boys wait outside of the bathroom, Daphne plucks mine and Velma's eyebrows, saying that it's part the disguises we'll be wearing.

"Hold still," she tells us.

After plucking an eyebrow, Velma winces in pain. "Ouch! Daphne, I don't know about this,"

"Just stop squirming and trust me," says Daphne.

"I don't know, Daphe. You sure this is going to work? I mean, plucking our eyebrows and putting some makeup on us, I doubt they'd realize it's us even if you didn't do it," I point out.

"Trust me, you'd be surprised with what you could live through. And as the saying goes, you can never be too careful, especially if it means investigating our suspects in the school," says Daphne.

I let out a sigh. "Point taken,"

"Okay, let's just get it over with," says Velma.

With that, Daphne gets back to work. I'll admit, it hurts to have my eyebrows plucked. But hey, this is nothing compared to all of those bully gang fights I've been in. Once Daphne is all done with me, she gets started with Velma. However....

"Oh! Okay. This is just--" Velma tries, having about enough of having her eyebrows painfully plucked from her brows.

"Hey, hey, hey. Don't be such a baby. Okay?" Daphne asks. "You and (Y/N) will be surprised what a little bit of blush and a simple pair of tweezers can do,"

"Oh, please," Velma says, having doubts about this whole thing. "Like there'll actually be a noticeable..." before Velma can even finish, Daphne rolls her eyes and holds up a hand mirror for me and Velma to see. "Metamorphosis,"

I cannot believe it, as I look at my reflection in the mirror. Turns out, Daphne was right. All she did was pluck our eyebrows, yet I can tell how different I look. I mean, I can tell that it's me, just with a slightly different appearance.

"You see that?" Daphne asks, putting the mirror back where it belongs and grabbing the fingernail-clippers. "An extra 10 minutes a day and your phones would never stop ringing,"

"An extra 10 minutes?" Velma questions then hints sarcasm in her next choice of words. "Well, I'm not devoting enough time to my extra-curriculars and volunteer work as it is,"
