(Y/N) POV:
After all the crazy stuff that happened to us at school today, we all decided to regroup to investigate those ghosts. And in order to do that, we felt it would be better to sneak around at night while everyone's parents are asleep. Better to do that than to explain things to them. We also have (F/A/N) and Scooby lead the way, since they're the only ones who know where those ghosts came from.
"I can't believe this. Following a dog and a (F/A) to find a ghost?" Daphne complains.
(if you're favorite animal is a dog, sorry. Try to go with it)
"I can't believe we're trying to find a ghost at all. I mean, I don't even think I'd believe in ghosts," says Fred.
"Oh yeah? Tell that to the ghosts we saw at the pep rally," I point out.
"While I too am skeptical...there's volumes of evidence supporting the existence of the supernatural," says Velma. "And historically, animals have been proven to be highly sensitive to paranormal activity,"
While sniffing the ground, Scooby somehow ends up with a pair of mushrooms stuck in his nose. Fred, Shaggy, (F/A/N) and I laugh and high-five each other when he snorts them out of his nose. Meanwhile, Daphne and Velma are not amused.
"Well, we have to try something if we want to clear our names," says Velma.
We keep walking, letting (F/A/N) and Scooby take the lead. Eventually, Scooby stops sniffing the ground and barks at something. We all look up, directing our flashlights at an old, dirty sign that reads "cemetery" on it. I feel bad for Shaggy, because he's no good with cemeteries, even during the day. But if we're going to clear our names, now's not the time to cower in fear, right?
"C-c-c-c-c-cemetery?" Shaggy asks, whimpering in fear. "Okay, so now that we know where the ghosts came from...we can just go home and alert the authorities, and leave,"
Shaggy obviously tries to make an excuse to leave so he doesn't have to go into the cemetery. But before he can even take one step, Fred and I make him turn around so that he's facing the cemetery. Then we lock arms with him so that he doesn't even think about leaving. We're here now, so we might as well see this through to the end.
"Oh, guys, you can't be serious about this," Shaggy complains. "We're not actually going to a cemetery, are we?"
As soon as we enter, we start looking around.
"You sure this is where you and (F/A/N) saw those ghosts, Scoob?" Shaggy asks, still scared.
"Reah," says Scooby.
"Sorry," (F/A/N) apologizes.
We keep looking. That's when I notice something, for the first time ever, I notice how tense Fred is, giving me a devious idea.
"Watch this," I whisper to Daphne. I slowly creep behind Fred then grab his shoulder. "Boo,"
Fred lets out a somewhat girly scream, making me and Daphne laugh.
"You're not scared, are you?" Daphne asks, still smiling at my accomplished prank.
"What? No," Fred denies. "No. I'm a football player. We have no fear. It's just...No!"
Daphne and I give each other a look, not buying it one bit. If there's one thing we agree on, it's that Fred is totally scared. The three of us then catch up with the others.
