Chapter 7: Oh My God! Damon!

"Oh my god, Damon" I screamed. "Caroline I-" he said before getting cut off. I didn't have time to process it. "Sh..sh let me think..um oh my goodness ok um..." I said. It passed half hour of panicking and then I just went out of the tent to go find Stefan and Elena. I went into their tent to catch them..without clothes. "Oh my god, Im so sorry uh.. I know you guys are a little busy and I know this is the worst time to point it out, but um Damon is dying..he uh got bit by a wearwolf" I said

"Oh My God! Damon", Stefan panicked as he got up, he pulled Elena up and put on underwear and shorts and for elena she put on her underwear and bra. We all ran as fast as we could. When we got to the tent stefan and elena came in

Damon looked at them, half naked . He gave them a look but then suddenly turned away.

"I'm gonna go get Rebekah and see if she brought any of Klaus's blood" Elena said

"Ok" stefan said

30 minutes later elena came back

"Ok so Rebekah said she had Klaus's blood but after you guys went into your tent and after Caroline started to talk to Damon, Rebekah left and went on out to a cave to find the cure, she said she's going to be back before tomorrow night, so it's fine because wearwolf bites kill vampires after two days and you've only been bitten for?" Elena asked

"1 day I think" I answered

"Yeah so she will be back before you die but for now just get some rest, she said she will try to be back before you start to hallucinate" Elena said

"Ok" we all answered .

I talked to Stefan about it and explained how I couldn't trust Rebekah to get back in time. "Stefan, why would she care about Damon? She wouldn't. She's going to take her precious time  , find the cure and not even think twice about him!".

Stefan agreed, we just needed to have a leverage over Rebekah. Something to make sure she did come back.

Stefan and elena went back to their tents.

ELENAS POV

Stefan and I started to walk back to our tent. I checked on Bonnie and Jeremy because none of us have seen them for a while, but they were gone. Rebekah must have taken them.

I started to think about Damon, my love for him was still there.

*flash back*

"Elena, I don't want you taking that cure. I promise you, This site bond won't be a big deal. I know you don't want to be human anymore please just stop looking for it. It would make me happy", Damon told me.

"Damon, I want to be human. You know that, but if it's what makes you happy I'll stop looking for it. But I just can't do this anymore, if you don't want me to be human I can't be with you. I can't be with someone who wants to change me."

*now*

When we went back into our tent, Stefan and I laid next to each other. "to look at the stars" Stefan said.  Then he unzipped a patch on the top of out tent. "If you count the stars , then the number of stars in this universe is how many years I will love you. That's forever Elena".

She snorted and giggled " 

we layed down and started to gaze at the stars

we held hands and then looked at each other

We kissed and then we started to talk

"Do you think damon will make it?" I asked

"Yeah. He's my brother, I mean he has to make it or else I'm-"
"Yeah, I get it" I said
