{Rebekah's POV}
Stefan and Elena had just gone to the waters to skip rocks, they said they wanted to spend their day off together.
I was angry with elena but I hadn't hated her, I wanted her to know that I wasn't all that bad, i mean after all the only reason I killed her was to save my family from dying.
I suddenly got a call from my brother.
"Hello" I said
"Hello sister"
"What is it now nik?"
"I just wanted to say goodbye"
"Where is my all powerful brother going now"
"I heard a coven of witches were plotting something on me"
"goodbye nik, I'll see you in a century"
"I love you sister"
I stayed quiet, in shock as for I have never heard him say a thing like this before
" I love you too nik" I finally replied
I hung up.
Hours had past I had been playing cards with little gilbert for the past 3 hours. "I win again gilbert, don't challenge a 1000 year old vampire" I bragged. I heard foot steps , "you're back" I said, referring to Stefan and Elena . "Yeah we skipped rocks, explored-" stefan said but I cut him off ,"We can stop looking for this cure" I said.
"Why?" elena asked. "I don't need it anymore, and since nobody else wants to be human, we can stop looking"I answered.
"Why don't you want it anymore bekah?" Bonnie had asked
. I smiled at her, and she smiled back
"Today my brother called me, nik called me, he's going somewhere to look for something. We said goodbyes and then he told me he loved me, Nik said he loved me, my cold hearted immortal brother said he loved me! he never says that! and the reason I wanted to be human was so I could have a family, and have someone love me and can call me theirs and I call them mine. I want a love, but I can find a love as a vampire , I don't need to be human to love and I already have a family, and I have a brother that barely loves anyone..but he loves me, that's human enough for me" I stated
"We can go home if you all like" I said . "YES PLEASE" caroline yelled. "Now, please? This place gives me goose bumps"
