It's finally time for a new year, a new start, a new chance of hope for a straight on good year.
2018 was a bitch to be honest, let's just say that. It started with stupid fucking Logan Paul and his vlog of Japan then ended up with tragic in some countries.
Throughout this year there were some horrible things I hate the most. Those things consist of; my family losing my Nan, legends leaving this world like dust, Indonesia's tsunami towards the end of the year, etc etc BUT 2018 was also a good year in the music industry.
Stray Kids debuted.
5SOS had a new album/tour/live album throughout.
Panic! At The Disco had a new album.
Twenty Øne Pilots came back from their hiatus with 'Trench'.
Fall Out Boy came out with the best album ever.
And a lot of stuff that is too much to mention.
To start of with the new year, there's some people who I want give credit for an excellent (somehow?) 2018.
5SOS: Thanks for giving us more music. Even though I couldn't join the ride for the Meet You There tour this year I'll try to meet you (there). I also want to say that I'm glad I got back into the 5SOS Fam right after 'Want You Back' dropped out of nowhere. I'm also really really glad that you actually came back with music which made me fall in love with you boys again after 2-3 years of forgetting you.
BTS: Thanks to the seven talented boys who I drifted away from in 2018. I still consider myself an ARMY even if I didn't love the Love Yourself era. Hopefully this year you boys can get some well deserved rest! You did amazing in 2018 and I slowly can't believe that you're famous like wtf.
EXO: Ah, where do I start? I'm just gonna day this; thanks for still being together even though you only got two comebacks this year (Tempo + Love Shot) I'm scared as Xiumin is going into the military for two years (is that right? My mind is blank now...) but hopefully SM will give exol's another sub unit to enjoy. Also Lay/Yixing, thank you for not forgetting about the boys in EXO because without you, exols won't see an ot8 in their eyes: they'll see ot9 or even ot12 instead.
Stray Kids: 2017 was a rough year for you slightly because we all thought you would not debut as ot9 in the future but turns out us stays were able to have all of you debut early in 2018 and finish the year with a fuck ton of comebacks/songs produced/rookie awards/etc etc. I really hope that you boys get some rest that you deserve well too! (Also huge thank you to Chan who chose the members for Stray Kids, didn't listen to JYP when Minho should become a rapper or something like that, produced EVERY. SINGLE. SONG the group made, etc etc BUT PLEASE GET SOME REST. Go get yourself some good deserved sleep, okay?)
ONE OK ROCK: UwU the boys who I spent (nearly) half my 2018 listening and watching random videos of. Thank you for keeping me happy after receiving sad news towards the end of April, thank you for two new singles (one in Jan/Feb [cant remember AH!] and the other in Nov//CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEW ALBUM IN FEBRUARY THIS YEAR!!) and thank you for an amazing tour in Europe in Dec (which I sadly couldn't attend but maybe this year?) and hopefully this year you will continue to being the four membered band that I enjoy to listen to whenever I feel sad.
Waterparks: To the band that I just recently started listening to everyday for nearly a month now, thank you for letting me forget about the sad things that happened in Dec of 2018. I'm glad that I decided to listen to you boys to end 2018 with as I've heard of you throughout the whole year. Can not wait for this year when you bring out new music! Maybe I'll listen to just you three all the time for this year UwU
My lovely friend WolfPrincessOffal03: thank you for staying with me throughout 2018! Even though we had some ups and downs, we still managed to stick together to glue. I still remember that at the start of the year, you came out as bisexual and you + your boyfriend are still together (NEARLY A YEAR ALREADY WJSHSAJJDJSJSJZJAJDJ) maybe this year we'll still be good friends, be casually ranting about YouTube stuff + school, etc etc. (If you're meeting up for the others, say I said happy new year to them UwU)
